This is the perfect jacket for any type of cold weather! I live in a mild winter climate but tend to visit places where it gets a little chilly and wanted a jacket that would work for all the things. I sized up to make sure I have extra room for layering. On its own, it is perfectly lightweight and but still keeps me warm. On colder days, I am able to layer a sweatshirt underneath and stay cozy. For reference, I am 5' 7 '' and typically wear a size Large; purchased an XL and it hits right below my bottom.

I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

I 've had this jacket for several years, use it as a steelhead guide on the Clearwater River. I absolutely love it. I bought a G3 jacket last year and while it's also a great jacket, I find myself still using my old Guide Classic everyday. I just like the way it feels for some reason, and it has been used! I 'm 6' 1 '', 215 and the XL fits great, but remember, this jacket is probably 5 years old. I 'm guessing I wear it at least 100 days a year.

I wore this the other day in 25+ mph wind gusts. I wore it over my flannel shirt and it was comfortable enough to pull over my existing clothing choice. The jacket was very easy to pull over existing clothes. As a bonus, it ’s also easy to take off and it doesn ’ t rip off your existing clothing when you pull it over your head. The jacket is a bit wider, but that ’s so it can fit over your existing clothes. The bottom has string you can tie up to cinch the jacket for a tighter and more wind- resistant fit so it won ’ t flop around in the wind gusts. The hood also has a string for the same purpose. The jacket held up pretty good in the wind. I ’ d imagine if it was much colder it wouldn ’ t be that great. But it was in the 50s with a lot of wind. It appears to be a good choice for a rain situation, but was unable to test that out. I would definitely recommend this jacket for hiking, camping, or any even on the golf course.

[ I 've tried several different brands of life vests for dogs, and while this is pricey, it's the best there is. It's sleek, streamlined, unencumbering, making movement for my dogs as uninhibited it can be. I bought this jacket to wear for skiing but have been wearing it at other times also. It is warm and I love the fur hood. I do wish that there were thumb holes in the inner sleeves and maybe another pocket inside the jacket on the other side( there is one on the left side) to stick tissues, money, etc. but it's a great jacket and very comfy. After receiving my coat, we had some downright frigid temperatures with high winds and my body never felt a thing! This coat is thin and light but do n't let that fool you!
