I received the thermal heavyweight shirt as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test, but I can honestly say that this shirt is necessary for everyone living in a cold climate. I find that the sizing is true, and the small works well for me. The shirt handles being laundered very well, without shrinking or pilling. It has retained it's shape. I wash in cool water, and I use fabric softener in addition to laundry soap. The Carhartt heavyweight poly wool shirt is extremely effective in keeping me warm, and blocking the harsh Iowa wind. I tend to stay cold, so this is saying a lot. I love the shirt, because it is fitted. It works well under clothing, without bunching up. I appreciate the `` thumb holes '' on the sleeves, since this prevented the sleeves from riding up while I put on my sweatshirt. Great quality, superior warmth, and comfort.

With morning temps usually in the mid 50's most days I wanted something that was a bit warmer than a short sleeve T but also needed to be visible as I 'm usually running in the city. This shirt is great, love the volt color and the fabric is just a bit thicker/warmer than a typical tech short sleeve T. The thumb holes are perfect for keeping the hands a bit warmer during the first mile or two of warming up or when the wind hits you just a bit too much. I 'm 6' 1- 2/165- 170lb and the standard length medium is a near perfect fit.

I LOVE the Calia Women ’s Cold Dash 1/4 Zip. I got the black in the medium size. I normally wear a small but the description said it is fitted, which it is, and I didn ’ t want a tight fit. This fits me exactly the way I want it too. It is nicely tailored but not skin tight. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and about 128 pounds. Previously, my favorite athletic 1/4 zip jacket was a black one with a back pocket that holds my phone. I had looked everywhere, unsuccessfully, for another until now. This jacket has a very nicely placed pocket in the back that holds my phone very comfortably during my daily morning 2 to 3 mile walks. The jacket also has reflecting lines on the back that serve their purpose when needed but still look fashionable at all times. They aren ’ t baggy, loose or uncomfortable which is major to me. I have had a lot of workout like pants that would come down, be very loose in the front area and just wouldn ’ t be comfortable. They do seem to stretch quite a bit. When it comes to washing I let them hang dry to avoid shrinkage and lent. In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. [ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on. Otherwise- it ’s an awesome sleek top.

We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. The woman's top seems to be a little more fitted for the breast.

Super cozy! Nicely oversized…the rise( waistband to crotch) is super long which isn ’ t my favorite, but the pants are so comfortable and cozy that I ’ ll deal with that. If you ’ re getting the brown color, be aware it ’s more mauve than brown. Other colors( my family bought every color) are true to the photos.
