Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

But BONUS I 've also put them to the test at tree climbing this week and they 've done really well! Only gripe is that they 've stretched a little bit, to where the extra space in the fingers gets stuck in carabiners from time to time. Easy to mitigate though, and the leather holds up super well to fire, ash, dirt, sap, ropes, and all:) plus do love that extra loop on the fingers to hang them in a way on my hip that keeps misc dirt from falling in.

These are my new favorite belay gloves! I take them up on the wall when I 'm doing multipitch climbs and also to the sport crag. They are versatile and generally awesome! I did get some holes in them after some usage, so be aware the durability is an issue, but I really have n't found a glove that's both dextrous and durable. Belay gloves put up with some serious abuse, so I 'm not really sure what's reasonable to expect.

I have Reynaud ’s and can never keep my hands warm. These mittens aren ’ t perfect, I still get cold fingers, but they are the best I ’ ve had in a very long time. The inner mittens are great on their own. I use them primarily for running, but they would be great for skiing and other winter activities. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. The mittens performed well above what I had expected. they are 100% wind proof and never let any moisture in. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. The recommended sizing for me was a M. I went up a size and they were snug, but very comfortable. The quality of these gloves are outstanding. I have owned these mittens through two seasons now. Through that time they have held up very well through trees, being dragged on the ground, and carrying around sharp edges of a snowboard. I waited on making a review to see how they held up over time after being completely soaked and dried numerous times, and evaluate the wear on the palm. Both have impressed, but not as much as their warming capability. The thing that will separate these from other mittens is their ability to warm while wet. They are not as waterproof as some other gloves as this price point, but they are the warmest mittens I have ever used and they retain that warming ability even when the inside is saturated. My suggestion would be an alternative to velcro for the wrist cuff as snow gets caught on it very easily, making it difficult to use( draw string?). These gloves have been used between temps of 15- 45 degrees F on the west and east coast in clear and stormy conditions. Picture displays palm wear after 1. 5 seasons of heavy use.

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

It is current 1 F with an- 18 F windchill. I needed to clear a couple of inches of snow from a driveway. These gloves kept my hands and FINGERS warm the 45 minutes I was outside. That ’s remarkable because my fingers always get painfully cold in such temps. The smart design of keeping the index finger free while wrapping the other 3 fingers in a mitten like pocket is brilliant! The gloves also feature a zipper pocket on the back of each hand, a wristband so the gloves can dangle if you need to take them off to pull something out of a pocket, take a photo, etc. Of course, they also feature a clip to keep them together when storing them. I was so impressed with them that I went out and got my partner a pair today as well. The price point is reasonable too- especially for a Gortex product.

Sometimes you want a lighter, thinner glove that makes it easier to manipulate things in your pack, pull skins, dig pits, etc. Other days you want a glove that keeps you warm and dry when it ’s dumping and windy on the chairlift. These are those gloves. The inner liner can be pulled out to dry faster, and the long gauntlet shell keeps rain and snow where it ’s supposed to be. I supplemented the included Nikwax for better coverage and seam sealing. So far these are my favorite in- bounds gloves in years, better than the Hestras and Kincos I have used in the past.

These gloves were used on an expedition cruise to Antarctica where I did zodiac rides and hiking. They kept my hands warm in sub- freezing temps, no issue! They are bulky so you loose some dexterity, but that ’s just how it ’s going to be with these gloves. It was nice to be able to remove the GorTex outer and use the inner glove on more temperate days. I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I ’ ve had these up for over 20 days and anything from wet heavy snow to very frigid and windy blue bird days. The Gloves are just excellent. Easy on and off and if you want to tighten them up they have an excellent cuff velcro. Wear them under my jacket cuffs and kept all the snow out. I ’ ve thought over the years to get a pair of Swany or Hestra gloves like a lot of the ski patrollers on our mountains but after getting this pair, I won ’ t think of needing anything else. Not much wear so I ’ m sure they ’ ll last a few seasons but even so, please keep these gloves in lineup for a while! The three finger is just perfection. Thank you OR!

Just got these delivered… build quality is very good. The leather and materials are high quality, and stitching appears solid. I like the tight wrist closure to fit under a jacket cuff. It will definitely keep snow out, and the Velcro patch is large. One important note on sizing: these are sized as “ unisex ”, not Men ’s or Women ’s. This means the Large size I ordered is a bit smaller than a Men ’s Large, and possibly bigger than a Women ’s Large. I have ordered other models of OR gloves in Men ’s Large, but these are a little tight on me. I probably would have been better off with an XL, but I bought them on an “ All Sales Final ” promo deal so I will have to stick with the L and hope they break in and stretch out a bit.

The Team gloves are the nicest 3 finger glove I 've owned. The overall build is top notch with a super soft and comfortable inner liner. The index finger( which can still get cold on 3 finger) seems to have more insulation around it. The reinforced palm is a nice feature. The leather just looks and feels to be a notch above other brands. I also like that OR included the leash. I would recommend ordering the size you typically wear. I normally wear size large and these fit perfectly in large.

I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store. What these are good for is cool weather and general use. The gloves fit my hands well and do n't have the odd long finger length that I get with most other gloves. These are great for protecting and keeping my hands warm and look good. I use them for quick dog walks and sitting at Fall and Winter soccer games watching my kid. What they 're not good for is winter weather. Here in NC we 've been getting some pretty cold temps of late and my finger tips will start getting cold and these are not water proof. These thing are sweet. On my second pair and if I had not burnt holes in them from being to close to buddy heater I would still be on my first pair. Dexterity for grabbing screws and sinking them to attaching draws and clipping they allow you to feel through every move. They do not puff up and create over gripping pressure combine with the pre- curve fingers man the best gloves. Have had them in 0° and had not had to switch gloves between leading and at belay. Love these gloves! Quality build, warm and comfortable. As someone with a large amount of abduction with my thumb, I often find that I quickly wear gloves out between the index finger and thumb. These seem to accommodate the majority of my thumb's range of motion and are reinforced where I typically end up tearing gloves. I am hopeful that these will last me a decade or more.

I 've never had mittens before, but since my hands were getting cold in my Hestras I decided to change it up. My hands were toasty warm all day on the mountain. Easy to get in and out off, and fit well under my jacket. Would highly recommend these gloves!

The gloves are warm and comfortable thus far, although they ’ ve not been put through any extreme days yet. Over the cuff three finger gloves are a rarity, so I ’ m glad to see more of them, as that ’s my preferred style. These get bonus points for having a “ nose wipe ”, as that ’s something I ’ ve found myself really missing on gloves that don ’ t have them. My only complaint is that the gloves seem to run very large compared to the size charts( of which there are multiple, depending on where you look, and they conflict with each other). I bought a size small pair for my sister as a Christmas gift, and they are large enough that I could wear them with only very slight discomfort, despite the fact that I generally wear a size 9( or Men ’s Large) glove. If you can try them on in person or can exchange them for a different size, I ’ d have no issues recommending them. If you ’ re ordering online and won ’ t be able to exchange them, either because of vendor policies or time constraints, I ’ d consider other options if you have them.
