I 've had mine for a few months and have gotten to wear it a few times. It's been everything I 've ever wanted in a wool sweater; warm, hefty, soft, and cozy.+ It feels solid. I 'm tempted to describe it as `` heavy '', but you really do n't feel any kind if weight when wearing it; it's just closer to feeling like a blanket than a shirt, and this is a good thing+ The wool is soft. It's not as soft as fine merino or alpacca or rabbit fur, but it's far from a scratchy old blanket or shirt. I 'd say it's closest to these soft, cable- knit cotton blankets my grandparents have. I found no irritation with it against my skin.+ It's warm! I first wore it over a t shirt and under my Greenland No. 1 Special Edition( just G- 1000, no insulation) on a brisk 15°F day. It kept me comfortably warm on my walk.+ It looks really nice, nice enough to wear with more proper business clothes.- There is n't much to complain about, besides the depth of the pocket; it's a little shallow( my iPhone 7 sticks out a little) and the button can be a little hard to get open at first. Overall, it's a great sweater, and a go- to for when I 'm trying to beat a brisk winter day.

I love this sweater! It's true to size with a loose fit. The fabric is so soft and stretchy, and it honestly feels like a big cozy blanket. I 'm tempted to buy all the colors!

I can ’ t even begin to convey how much I love this sweater! I have it in the crème color. It ’s perfectly oversized, and goes with jeans or leggings. The wool isn ’ t itchy to me, and I can be sensitive to wool.

Beautiful, heavy wool sweater, but runs really large. I own Fjallraven sweaters in XS and can swing an S in some of them, but even the XS in this one was way too big. I recommend sizing down. The cream color is lovely.

[ I really like the weight and texture of this sweater. Also the color is great. Not red, red but a softer red. I wear an XL and the XL in this sweater fits perfectly. It is a bit pricey but it's really a nice addition to my wardrobe.

[ This a great layer or stands up all on it ’s own. Mid to lightweight for a sweater, perfect fit, and smooth on the skin with no itchy woolness. Washed it with some cycling gloves and the Velcro pulled pills at the fabric surface, so, don ’ t do that.

This is extremely comfy and true to size. I am normally a Small on everything Fjallraven as far as tops, and the Small fit me perfectly, as expected, a little baggy, but not too much. BUT, it will shrink A LOT if dried in the dryer on Medium heat, and it will still shrink some even in low heat( I never tried high heat). Because I saw it was 100% cotton( which tends to shrink when dried in the drier) I opted to buy a baggy Medium which, as expected, it shrank to a Small! The Vardag Sweater reacted the exact same way, btw, as it appears to be the identical material. The sleeves will shrink in length too, so if you have long arms, you might want to try the men's style which has longer sleeves.

I bought this one in black. My goal was to have a more professional sweatshirt that I could wear for casual Fridays at work. It does fit a little small, but average size for Fjallraven( they have smaller, European sizing; I got a large for 5' 2 '' about 150 pounds). Since I was going for a more fitted look, this one worked well. It is more of a medium weight with that fine, terrycloth like texture on the inside( they do make others that are the traditional fuzzy inside). The fabric is soft, yet not the type that will pill. To be safe, I air dry it, the throw it in the dryer for a few minutes.

[ I am new to the Fjallraven clothing line. I like the way it looks. I like the fit and its comfort. I purchased a shirt and it ran small. I was leery when purchasing the size. The reviews indicated it was a slim fit but ran big. When articles of clothing say slim fit I typically purchase an XXL. I purchased the XL and it fits great. For reference I 'm a little taller than 6' at 230#.

[ Review for Ovik Folk Knit Sweater in Dark Grey] This woolen Nordic- themed holiday sweater is a classic. The repetitive folkloric pattern is sophisticated and detailed but true in spirit to traditional knit patterns. Note this is not a tightly knit sweater( I 'd call it `` medium '' knit). Being 100% wool, do not tumble dry. I 've hand- washed to date, and the sweater holds its shape well as it dries. Overall: high quality, festive, and very warm. Love mine and look forward to seeing what new patterns Fjallraven has next year!
