My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

I work outside, and finding comfortable shorts that are n't too short is definitely tricky. I would suggest sizing down, based on the size chart I needed a 2X, but I tried on the XL in store and they have PLENTY of room. They have a 6 '' inseam, which is a little longer than I usually like, but will still be comfortable. Rated durability a 3 because I have n't really put them to the test yet.

I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. I have to start off and say I really appreciate the quality that goes into these bibs, there have been numerous improvements and upgrades to the older design. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. [ This is my 2nd Watertight Jacket and still ca n't believe how great the jacket is. Not only does it keep my dry during heavy rainfall but it also protects me from the cold wind during the winter months here in south Texas. Our 6 and 12 year old granddaughters love them. My only complaint: Fabulous pants for girls, need to change labeling from boys to kids. BTW: this is my business advise too.
