Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

I read LOTS of reviews( 1 star review- 5 star reviewers) before purchasing, and I am pleasantly surprised with the fit of the jacket. SEVERAL reviewers stated the jacket runs large, one or two stated it runs `` true to size '', so, what is the `` real deal ''? I believe it runs pretty true to its stated size. The large is a little large on me, and the sleeves are a bit long. I have long arms( wear shirt size 16 X 34- 35 '') and the large jacket sleeves are a bit too long. So, it is NOT a `` tailored fit look '', but I personally prefer the jacket to be a bit larger to enable me to wear a sweater of hoodie underneath. The Medium size may have been a better fit; not sure; but I also wanted the grey jacket( which is almost black in color) and it has a somewhat sculptured fit in the way it was designed. I am MOST pleased. PAY HEED: Do NOT attempt to put anything in what `` appears to be '' inside pockets, as these are NOT inside pockets, they are the inside lining for the two outside access pockets. Several people `` assume '' them to be pockets only to have had their cell phones drop to the floor.

However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. This jacket is more than I could have hoped for. I operate a snowplow at a ski resort at night during storms clearing parking lots. When I get out of the tractor into what is frequently a howling blizzard, this keeps me warm, sealed and protected. It's loose enough that I can wear layers underneath if it's really cold and the whole thing is lined with nylon so there is no binding at all. The hood and zipper come up to just the right place on my chin to be functional without hindering. And when it's wet snow or rain, it runs right off and I stay dry. Amazingly comfortable. They have a relief cut into the pocket to hang a tape measure on either side. The front of the bib pockets are much more usable now, especially with the large zip pocket. I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

they are a good fit comfortable and do seem to be waterproof so far, I am in the farming business and my feet stay dry, only drawback is an occasional soar from a rub below my ankle but that could be a socks issue. Can not rate durability or quality as only been wearing them 2 weeks

I bought these boots for my son. Once we got the correct size( no shoe to try on in store) they were perfect. My son recently went on a winter retreat where they spent almost the entire weekend outside, sledding, horseback riding, broom ball tournament, hiking, etc. And his feet were the warmest they have ever been at this event. Love this vest. It's my 3 rd one because I wear them almost every day from October through May here in Maine. I get about 2 years out of them. My last one had 2 of the 3 zippers fail within a week of each other but it was getting a bit thread worn so needed replacing anyway. I am 5'11 '' tall and weigh 175- 180 and wear a small. I prefer them to be snug to retain heat for my core. Great vest.

Very nice raincoat or parka. It reminds me of the old Army Gortex parka, with the positive addition of elastic cuffs at the wrists. Have had the chance to try it in the rain and its kelp me warm and dry!

In typical Carhartt fashion it looks and feels strategically overbuilt. I bought it to use on multiday raft trips. I need something that will do its job. This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the loose fit. We can get snow into June here in Montana and I can layer with this jacket and still move. Good job!

The Romeo Wedge boot is a quality footware. The boots fit true to size and have a very well placed arch. The out sole also seems to be of top quality and should wear for a long time. The boots are not the easiest to pull on and off but maybe thats some of the reason they fit so well.
