These are the most perfect pants I 've worn in over 20 years. They actually fit correctly and are properly high waisted, and as such can easily be dressed up; but are also entirely functional for work. All the while they are still wide enough to accommodate truly muscular thighs, they have a clean cut through the leg that you can even fit a pair of half chaps on top of them to ride in them! Furthermore, I expect them to break in fantastically as they 're a study weave of 100% cotton. I am so happy I snagged the last pair in a size that would accommodate my hips, but I regret not being able to semi- stockpile these! They are fantastic, and particularly left- hand friendly. The waist band allows some gap to accommodate natural movement but, I have it pinched in with a stretchy belt, as can be seen in my photos. However, the belt is not needed so long as the pants fit your hips. I could go on? I want more of these, and others `` like '' them.

Pocket is easily accessible which is NOT the case for many of their other pants. This pocket is slanted vs the TOP entry for others. The fabric is perfect stretch. I ca n't wait to put them on in the AM. I have black, blue, khaki and brown and will buy the slate soon. It is winter here so they protect great from the cold. I do n't plan on using them in the summer and fingers crossed that they may pass muster for warmer weather but not sure. I am in the NE of Usa. I will switch over to Wanderlust pant for summer with an occasional use of the Open to Close.

I am Small in Leggigins 27 jeans/ 4 in AE jeans 5' 3 ''. I first bought a Medium. It fit well at the waist, but felt too baggy through the legs there was extra room due to the elastic waist. At the time, XS and Small were sold out, so I reordered from another site. The XS ended up being a little too snug, while the Small would have been perfect. For sizing reference, the Medium measurements are: PTP waist 15. 5 '', hips 21 '', inseam 25. 5 '', rise 13 ''.. I recommend sticking to your usual size if you wear a Medium or have a larger waist. They get a little warm in the Georgia summer but really any long pants do. The only nit I might pick is their length. I wear 31 ” inseam so 30 ” or 32 ” depending. This pant in 30 ” length is a good 2 ” too long. I just make sure to empty the rolled cuff outside before washing.

I got these online to use as work pants. The elastic waistband and drawstring secured them pretty well. The material is rugged, but not rigid. They seem like they 'll wear decently over time. I bought them with the short inseam, and I think they 're still a tad long for me( 29 ''- 30 '' is my normal). Overall nice pants.

I love these hiking trousers!! I live in the Midwest and I did not know how they would hold up in our really cold winters. They are great in the snow and wet cold. I add a layer underneath for warmth and the trousers do the rest. I tend to be hard on jeans and cargo pants but these are just as rugged and really lightweight. In addition to hiking, I do a lot of outdoor shooting and needless to say these do just fine for a day at the range. They arrived extra long, but I understand why, I washed them twice and then took them to get altered and it has been great ever since. What an amazing product!!

This was my second item I ever got from this company and I love them! Like the Sten jacket it's a sleek design and definitely got compliments from these pants. As for water repellence, Like the sten, it's worth having Greenland wax to put a few coats for before your adventures to add more resistance. I also ordered a M knowing that the L might not fit. The M fits much more fitted but still baggy as it was designed. I would size down from your normal size, L to M, M to S, etc.

yes, these do run large even for oversized, baggy, cargoes, but once I figured out I needed to go down two sizes I ended up buying a second pair in a different color. The length is not an issue if you use the bungee cord at the hem of the pants to adjust the length to suit the look you are going for. LOVE these!
