These shorts helped a lot with my 2 hour bike ride this weekend—no discomfort at all! I was also pleased with the fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 160lbs with most of the weight carried in my thighs, so I often have trouble finding shorts that don ’ t squeeze too much and don ’ t ride up. These were long enough that they grabbed my thigh at the narrowest part by the knee, and didn ’ t ride up because of the nonslip band around the leg opening. These have a mid rise, which is not what I normally go for because I ’ m afraid they will fall down, but these stayed put! I got a size M for reference.

[ After MANY road miles and many years on our original Pearl Izumi road bike shoes, my husband and I decided to replace our clips and shoes. [ Good shorts. My phone will fit in any of the pockets, although it digs a little weird if it's in a top pocket while riding. The shorts are a good length and do n't ride up. I like that the liner is removable and could be replaced with other liners. I am 5'- 8 '' and 173 lbs. I ordered a size 10 which is a bit snug but fits pretty well.
