[ I weight lift 4- 5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). these are great for a good pool work out. they are a bit `` heavy ''( more floatation) but you can use slower movements or keep them more shallow for less of resistance, and move them faster or push them further under water( or do both actions at the same time) for more resistance. they seem to be holding up well so far but I have not had them for very long. hopefully they will continue to hold up in my 3 times a week hour long pool class at the gym.
