I'vw since our based the light, Medium and Heavy in pairs and found that they are an amazing add to my bar in my weight training. I thought these bands were gimmickie, and that's not to say they are n't, but definitely not what I 'm using them for. It's a good resistance band so far. I picked up the 75 lb green band and it's pretty thick. I primarily use it for pushup resistance and having a longer arm length, I found that it provided the resistance throughout my movement. Others with shorter arms would probably have to grip the band a bit closer but I do n't think it would be a deal- breaker. I wo n't have to worry about the band's durability for quite a while as I 'm not using it all the time.

Upon inspection this band had several defects which if used would imperial the safety of the user. To improve the separation a neutral membrane placed between the layers will solve the sticking. Though I am a physician, I am somewhat of a physician skeptic. I had a relatively severe shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injury in college many years ago. The shoulder has never been the same, but `` tolerable ''. It had been getting worse over the past. year with significant pain, particularly with certain movements. I saw the orthopedic surgeon who recommended shoulder `` re- hab ''( physical therapy) and I was very doubtful that this would help. I read the literature that they provided me, got a set of resistance bands and started doing the exercises several times a week, as instructed. Much to my surprise and delight, my shoulder pain got much better along with my flexibility and functionality. I can now do exercises that I was incapable of doing two months ago with minimal to no pain. I was not looking forward to surgery and glad that I was able to avoid it.

It fits in the door and the cables allow you to lean at 45 degree angle stretching your shoulder joints and isolating your spinal chord, site of bone spurs. This is an incredible complete door gym with adjustable cables and holsters for your feet and hands. It has a swivel so you can easily change your workout without undoing anything. It's an awesome workout! Great product.

I am able to target the majority of my major muscle groups through all of the different orientations that the straps can be mounted and positioned. One key feature that really sets this apart from similar products I have used is the swivel that prevents the straps from twisting and knotting up. I am able to rotate and move around more smoothly which really simplifies my workouts.

Since purchasing this set a month ago, I 've used it nearly every day. I like that it was extrememly easy to set up and it does n't take up very much space- I can literally attach it to the back of my basement door and there's no other clutter to deal with. While this set only comes with one cable system, I like that I can add other cables when I 'm ready to increase the resistance level. And I do n't have to worry about it doing any damage to the door, unlike other doorway gym systems I 've looked at in the past.

5 stars are for a Lifeine Gym version I got in 1983. I still use it as I 'm on SSDI due spondylosis. It fits in the door and the cables allow you to lean at 45 degree angle stretching your shoulder joints and isolating your spinal chord, site of bone spurs. My version allows converts the handles into barbell or stand on the handles and pump the barbell fed cables, twisting for more resistance. It also allows those of us who can not sleep to stretch any time of day or night. My Lifeline Gym is the finest addition to anybody's home with aging family members.
