Whoever first thought of using forceps as a hook remover sure had a great idea! A friend turned me on to this and I will be forever grateful. They are small enough to not get in the way yet they do as good a job( I think better) then the big `` hook removers '' that are out there. They are very easy to get down the mouth of even those smaller pan fish and once they clamp down on the hook, they wo n't let go. As an old wrestling coach it is far better to use this when you drill and want to keep track of reps in a drill than for time. Plenty of power and the blades have lasted well cutting through perch bones. Would n't use on walleye bones. The one thing that has broken was this ridiculous safety which was more of a hazard.
