There is one zipper on the right side with a nice long pull cord so my kids we able to easily open and close it while laying inside. This is a mummy bag and has two pull strings on each side which pull it close around their head to stay warm. When open there was plenty of room to add a pillow inside the bag for them.

This is the Swiss Army knife of bags. Goes from the office to the gym, to 2- 4 day trips without breaking a sweat. Construction is decent for the price. It is n't likely to be something you 'll hand down to your kids, but it should last multiple years without needing to baby it. So far it's held up to the abuse I 've thrown at it. My teenage son also has one he uses as his school backpack. Plenty of space for him and its held up to the abuse a teenager puts on gear. Let's put it this way, I like the bag so much, I 'm contemplating buying a second to store away for the distance eventuality of losing this bag or having it suffer some sort of critical failure, because I do n't want to go without the combination of features and style this bag offers.

Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Best travel backpack I have purchased. Tough and durable, it is really well designed and assembled. Plenty of pockets, almost everything is secured behind a zipper. It fits easily under the seat on a SWA flight. Front pocket for your tickets, top shallow pocked for phone, wallet, and watch while going through TSA. Stands up and is pretty balanced. You laptop is very protected, especially if you drop the back pack off a chair or sit it down too hard.

I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I use it for work and anytime I need to have my laptop and iPad on me( a lot of the time). I love how the laptop sleeve has a false bottom so when you place the laptop in the backpack it does n't accidentally knock the surface the backpack may be resting on. I use the sleeve next to the laptop sleeve for files, and it has enough space for everything I need without being too big or too small. Comfortable, no worries. I 'm not thinking about having any other backpack- it suits my needs perfectly.

Really like this sleeping bag. I love the second zipper feature because I can just fold the top of the bag down to cool off. Also like the pillow sleeve a lot. If I put my Klymit Drift in it, the hood is tight, but it ’s a bigger pillow and I don ’ t do a lot of 30 degree camping so not a big deal. Packs down small, and the included mesh bag is a great addition.

There ’s not a lot about this bag/company online. I was scouting for reviews everywhere. I found only one on YouTube. Let ’s start with what this bag is. It ’s RDS certified 700 fill power duck down. It weighs 2lbs 5oz( trail weight). It comes with stiff sack that can be tightened to compact it. It also comes with a large long term ventilated storage sack. It has YKK# 5 zippers. It has a large skirt on the upper back to lock you to your sleeping pad. I tried it with a regular 20 ” wide pad( also Ampex) and it works great. The bag shell is like any other bag in this class, a thinner nylon to save weight. The zippers are great. The bag is warm and works as advertised. Overall a great purchase for a light, down, 20°F bag.

If you 're looking for a lightweight, packable sleeping bag that that's still warm this is a great option. I used it with the lightweight camping pad and stayed warm down to freezing temps. If you used the insulated pad it would probably work great down below freezing.

This has been a great boot, my go to for wide feet. It is a very tough boot that works well for day hikes or overnights. It has great support and foot protection yet remains light and faily flexible. I have had no issues with the waterproofing either, works great. Highly recommend them.

The boots look great and based on walking the dog in the rain they are definitely water proof. The shoes are true to size, You may want to get a 1/2 size bigger if you always wear thick socks. They are fine with athletic crew socks. The quality is excellent the seams are tight and the bottoms provide secure footing.
