I have borderline kid size hands and they still fit me pretty well. I was able to use my phone with the gloves on my hands. Highly recommended if you want warm hands!

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Took these on trail and they kept my fingers warm in a cold rain. I like the fit, the feel, but glad it did not rain the next day because they did not dry fast at all. Did not expect waterproof of course, but was hoping they would be useful again without a dryer. Taking something else for days long hiking next time, but these are still nice, keeping for different scenarios, hikes closer to home.

I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.

I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

Most useful glove I own. I buy back- up pairs for there's always a fresh pair when needed. Do n't get me wrong- they do last a long time, but eventually I will abuse them and a fingertip or 2 will wear out. Then they become work gloves, and a new pair rotates in for the winter backcountry trips. My hands freeze. They 've been damaged over the years of exposure, but the wind- blocking feature of the Stormtrackers works! The dexterity and anatomical fit/articulation are amazing- THANK YOU for making this in a women's version OR! I can easily utilize all my zippers, placing skins on skis, avy transceiver functions, etc on a snowy day without having to bare my fingers to the elements. And they still breathe, so I do n't sweat( and subsequently freeze). I usually do need to switch to insulated gear for the descent, but not always. And if it's a warm uptrack day, I just put the gloves over the pole handles for a comfy, warm, low- profile grip until I need them again. Do n't worry about the zippers- no issues whatsoever with them, and you will forget they 're there. Actually keeps the wrists lower profile than with velcro. Use the little clasp feature to keep them mated when not in use. Leather palms are durable and grippy. The perfect softshell, all- around useful glove!

This is just what I needed. The whole purchasing process was great. I only wish they had a bigger size than xl as I have rheumatoid arthritis and they are a little hard to get on but once on they feel great. Thank you Warming Store, you made winter a little more bearable.

I bought these for my elderly mother for Christmas and tried them on while my hands were cold. It was like heaven! She is not good with electronics and this was easy. She knows how to plug in her cell phone and that is all she has to do is plug them in to recharge. They are lightweight and have cell phone fingers. I am very happy with the gift I am giving my elderly mother.

If you are looking for a heated glove but have a limited budget, these are a nice option. They do n't get as warm as gloves with a stronger battery, but the heat is still very nice.

White Mountains 21°F with 5- 10mph winds these gloves worked well as long as you keep active. My fingers were cool but not freezing cold( without liner gloves). My hands did not sweat like in normal gloves. People expecting toasty warm fingers might want to pair these gloves with a thin liner glove. These gloves are thicker than a liner glove but thin and light enough to fit in your jacket pocket. Sizing is perfect. In most gloves a Med is tight but fits perfectly and a Large leaves extra room in the finger tips. These gloves in Med fit almost perfect and leave room for a light weight liner glove.

[ To be honest if you think you can use those gloves on a cold weather, you can but you MUST do an activity( run or walk) to keep your hands warm in order to have the omi- heat technology to work, those gloves are not for cold weather but you can use them for hiking or temperature over 20F

Been using Bd gloves for many years and they have always been great but these are hands down the warmest mitt I ’ ve had, which is so great to have for those super chilly days up on the resort. No finger separators which I like as your body heat keeps each digit warm.

These are hands down( haha!) the best mittens ever! I have spent a lifetime of winters with perpetually frozen fingers, desperate for a way to foil Mother Nature. Enter the Black Diamond Mission MX mittens and all I can say is let ’s go outside, and bring on the snow. First of all, this is the first xs mitten that really is extra small and fits me. There ’s loads of insulation but they ’ re not too bulky( they work great with ski poles and trekking poles and give me enough dexterity to make snow balls). They are really well made and packed with features( wrist elastic and Velcro, soft suede on the thumbs, leashes with toggles, super cozy insides, and super weather- proof outsides. And they are WARM! I have yet to come in from the cold to warm up my hands. So happy.

Very nice gloves! Very comfortable and classy looking. They heat up well and it seems like the battery life is pretty good. I wouldn ’ t trust them to handle colder temperatures than that.

I 've been using these for cold weather biking. They are warm, slightly wind resistant and there is no seam along the inside of the thumb and palm so there's no pressure point when gripping handlebars. Unexpected but great feature. Just right. Also good for general use in cold, but not frigid temperatures. Great contoured fit.

This glove felt a full size smaller than the same size in the sensor stormtracker and sensor 150 merino liner. Overall it seemed to be a nice glove for active use. There was more insulation on the palm than I was expecting. I would likely be comfortable using these for aerobic cross country skiing down to 20F but run a bit warmer than average.

I still love these gloves and will continue to use them. HOWEVER, I did gain some more experience with them. Doing astrophotography in Arches in 21 degree weather taught me that I 'll need to add another layer and use hand warmers with these. They were fine while the blood was pumping, but when it came to waiting around, my fingers got numb. They would be perfectly fine for anything above 32 degrees. The pull tabs and large openings made it easy to get my hands in and out quickly. Adjusts at the wrist and opening for a tighter fit.

These are fantastic! I 'm normally a gloves guy but I bought these for very cold conditions and they did not disappoint. The fit is excellent. They kept my hands warm for two hours on a snowmobile at- 18C( without grip heaters). I like the snug cuffs, they fit under my coat sleeve and keep the snow out. Time will tell but they seem durable and well constructed.

I 've been using these gloves 2- 3 times weekly for around 4 months now. They 're starting to show some wear on the palms, but I believe that's on me for not treating the leather first. These gloves have keep my hands warm in temps as low as- 25° with the wind chill added. Still very efficient even when my hands got sweaty in them.

Super high quality materials and construction. The majority of the mit is a really nice quality leather with great feel. Elastic cuff is fairly snug pulling them on but gives nice closure and feel once on.

As a ski instructor these mittens did the job perfectly. Worn in temperatures ranging from- 15°F to 40°F with no issues. The leather feels premium and the overall look of the gloves is great.

When searching for the best gloves for walking in winter, consider features such as insulation for warmth, waterproofing to keep your hands dry, and breathability to prevent overheating. Additionally, look for gloves with a good grip to ensure you can hold onto items securely, as well as touchscreen compatibility if you need to use devices while outdoors.
Winter walking gloves are often made from materials like leather, synthetic fabrics, and fleece. Leather provides durability and weather resistance, while synthetic materials can offer lightweight insulation and moisture-wicking properties. Fleece is commonly used for its softness and warmth, making it a popular choice for lining.
Choosing the right size for winter walking gloves is crucial for comfort and warmth. Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles and refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's important to ensure a snug fit without being too tight, as this can restrict circulation and reduce warmth.
Yes, certain styles of gloves are more suitable for walking in winter. Mittens tend to provide more warmth as they keep fingers together, while gloves allow for better dexterity. Look for styles that offer a balance between warmth and functionality, such as gloves with adjustable cuffs or those designed for active use.
Winter gloves can differ significantly in insulation types, which affects their warmth and bulkiness. Some gloves use synthetic insulation, which is lightweight and retains heat even when wet, while others may use down insulation for superior warmth. Understanding the insulation type can help you choose gloves that best suit your winter walking needs.
When selecting winter walking gloves, consider the durability of the materials used and the construction quality. Look for gloves with reinforced seams and high-quality outer materials that can withstand wear and tear from outdoor activities. Additionally, gloves designed for specific tasks, like work or hiking, may offer enhanced durability features.
