I am a mail carrier and I recently purchased these to wear while working. They really work well, I can use them on low and they keep my hands plenty warm.( keep in mind I am walking while wearing them so I am generating some heat, I do n't know how well they would work if you were sitting) Since these are thicker, sorting the mail takes a bit to get used to but it's worth it. The battery does not last all day so I did purchase the extra battery pack. Only cons are that the sizing was not right for me. My hand measures 7. 5 '' so I ordered the large but they are too big. I ended up getting them in medium and they are much better. Also, the button to turn them on and change the temp is easy to use but if you need to shut them off, you have to unplug the battery to get them to turn back on again. It's not convenient having to take the gloves off but it is minor since they actually keep my hands warm!

Enter the Black Diamond Mission MX mittens and all I can say is let ’s go outside, and bring on the snow. First of all, this is the first xs mitten that really is extra small and fits me. There ’s loads of insulation but they ’ re not too bulky( they work great with ski poles and trekking poles and give me enough dexterity to make snow balls). [ The fit is a bit small, depending on what you plan on doing with them. I bought these in a women's small. I have small hands; my palm circumference is an even 7 '' and the length of my hand is just less than 7 ''. I 've never previously found a women's small to be at all tight, in fact, sometimes I have to order extra smalls, but these gloves are just a tad bit on the small side. They fit perfectly when my hand is curled, as if you 're holding onto your ski poles or something else, but when I try to stretch my hand as open as possible, it feels just a bit tight in the length. So if you plan on standing around with your hand opened wide and pressed down flat, you should size up. The other issue is the gauntlet sleeve is a little tight/small in circumference-- it's just a bit hard to pull on over a parka sleeve, especiallly if one glove is already on. Also, if you want really fine dexterity, these are too thick for that. I found that while the touchscreen fingers do work fine on my phone and tablet, the difficulty comes in in accuracy, due to the thickness of the gloves. I also found it a little difficult to use a sensitive two button mouse without accidental clicks. However, those things aside, the gloves are very comfy/cozy. The inside lining is soft and I have n't yet noticed sweaty palms. They kept me warm and dry working outside in cold and rainy weather, which is what I bought them for. I would have preferred if the palms had been reinforced with another layer of leather, but so far they seem to be holding up to chopping and stacking wood and other miscellaneous odd jobs around a cabin in the woods when it's cold and rainy. I would imagine these would be good for snowsports as well as winter motorcycling, but again, if you 're looking for really fine touchscreen dexterity, I 'd find a thinner glove that maybe is n't as warm/thick.

Snug as a Bug
My husband and I are HUGE Kansas City Chiefs fans! We never miss a game. For me, though, it was always watching from the warmth of my own home. My husband has been trying for years to get me to go to a stadium game, but I just ca n't deal with being cold for any long period of time. Even though we have friends over on game days, he has always wanted me to have the whole football experience of pre- game tailgating, parking lot cook offs, and hearing the thousands of fans cheering for our favorite team.
