My dermatologist recommended Sunday Afternoons and I ’ m really glad she did. For health reasons, more than ever, I need to really hide from sun exposure but I am not one to just stay inside. I ’ m usually an Akubra girl, but the Adventure Hat has better coverage and the ventilation makes it so much more comfortable in these increasingly hot summer days. I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. It does seem to run a little small compared to my other hats of the same size, so if you ’ re in between sizes, probably best to size up. Oh, and the sunglasses holder is awesome! After having them in a couple of sun hats, I would never want to buy one without.

This seems like the perfect, all purpose hat for my Dad for Father ’s Day. He has everything already and is, unfortunately got skin cancer, so was so so thankful to find the hat that seems to protect the skin, waterproof and is stylish to boot.

I was a bit skeptical but then decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did, very comfortable, innovative easy size adjustability, cool sunglass holder. What more could I ask for. Oh yes, it's light weight and did I say comfortable! I know have this in my travel kit for hiking and have been using it on the golf course. If I had one recommendation it would be some custom patches offered for the front.
