These are the training shorts I 've always wanted. I generally hate shorts with liners because the elastic in the leg holes is irritating and annoying. I usually opt for linerless shorts and athletic boxer briefs. These are everything in one. The benefit of these shorts is that the outer shorts are attached to the inner liner. The pockets on these shorts stays put. I have another pair of Nike running shorts and the pocket liner pokes out the bottom when I put my phone in there. So annoying. The only thing I 'd change is the advertised phone pocket in the back is much too small for my iPhone Max. Otherwise these are perfect.

My favorite for trail runs and hikes. The length to mid knee is perfect. I sized one up because I like shorts with some room, but even so they have what I 'd call a `` normal '' fit. I do like the sized up fit though, very comfortable. The fabric has a nice texture, feels durable. The thigh pocket just barely fits my phone. The zippered back pockets were a good idea.

Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.

I 've had these for over a month now and> 10 workouts. They fit great, size M for an athletic- but- not- huge guy, 6' 2 '' 200# with a waistline that varies 31- 33 ''. Quick drying, great for runs and everything else I 've done in them. They 'll be right at home for daily wear when the weather warms up. If durability maintains, these are a 10/10 for me. These are by far my favorite running shorts. Not only are they perfect for super hot days because they are so flown and airy, they have made in underwear! Usually I cut made in underwear out because it ’s so uncomfortable but this pair is fantastic. I love the color and it doesn ’ t ride up as badly as other brands do while I run( I have larger thighs). Run a size large. If you are large, get a medium and so forth. The best shorts I own. French Terry is an amazing material. All the details are great. Elastic waist not too tight but fits just right. Zippered pockets are perfect. Great length for exercise or just showing off your gains. Would be hard to find a better short regardless of price.

Starting this review by stating that the quality is exceptional with hefty fleece feel, normally go for 7 ” shorts but wanted to try a 5 ” for those days that are not so cool. If you don ’ t mind showing a little more thigh then go for these if not look elsewhere. But if you go for them especially in the cream color it will be a great versatile pair of shorts that go with many outfits and NB shoes, I usually pair them with the many 990 sneaker series.
