I tend to wear an XS in Columbia, and I sized up to a Small to have a bit more room to layer over long sleeves. It's the perfect fall weight-- not too heavy to feel stuffy but definitely warm and cozy-- and I can see it being easy to layer under thicker jackets in winter. The fit is great, with a slightly boxy body that is super flattering and still long enough on my long torso. All the colors are great, and I love the heathering of the fleece to give it a bit of distinction. Style- wise, it's like a combo between a bomber jacket and a cardigan, with a more refined look than. I could easily wear this in slightly more dressy settings( Oregon dress, lol). Great work, Columbia designers! This one's a keeper.

This is a very soft hooded zip up sweatshirt. It keeps me warm and cozy. Note, it is oversized and roomy, so order down. I am a true medium and could have definitely ordered a small. The zipper sticks a little but was better after zipping it up and down a few times. The arms are nice and long. The hoodie is nice for rain/snow and is roomy as well. They state it on the tag and it ’s a 100% true that grid fleece technology keeps you dry and comfortable and warm. Is it a coat you should wear in the snow, probably not, but if it ’s a bit windy and chilly this is the hoody for you! Biggest complaint about most woman wear is the lack of pockets, but Marmot has you covers with two exterior pockets with zippers to keep your items from falling out and two interior pockets, one on either side. The zipper may not seem like a big deal to some people but the have some very functional sturdy zippers that you don ’ t have to worry about breaking or skipping a tooth. Once again this is a beautiful athletic dress up casual hoody that will fit for many occasions wether on the run in the park or a stroll down town on a chilly fall date!

[ I have a few rocklin full zip fleeces that I had bought a few years ago, and I have worn them quite a bit. So, when I saw the Black Friday sale I decided it was time for some new ones. This is a different fleece jacket altogether, and actually I like it better. The contrast trim is very attractive, and the new Rocklin is a heavier weigh. For anyone who has the older rocklin fleece jacket this one is sized larger. I initially bought a size small, and that one is big enough to be an outer jacket in warmer weather. The x- small is now the right size for me to use as a mid layer.

Love how they have you put in your height and weight for the right size. When I first opened it the jacket was so light I thought there was no way it would keep me warm but I was wrong. The Omni heat for me is a 10 out of 10. Now they need some more glove options with Omni heat.

[ Really like the length and lighter weight. I am 5 ’ 4 ” about 115lbs and the XS was still a bit large. It does have a cord in the back you can cinch up to make smaller around the waist area. Doing so does cause the front to “ pucker ” out a bit. Still a comfortable coat with the thickness I was looking for with Michigans 30- 40 degree temps.
