My daughter love this one, better than the yellow one

New Yorker
It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

The Denali Jacket is vibes! I have the pinkish one and the color is so vivid and pretty. It is also super warm! There was a wind storm last night and it kept me warm! I would purchase again, there's so many colors to choose from.

I use this jacket almost every day. I love that it's cropped so it fits me just right because I 'm short. So I do n't look like my jacket swallowed me up!

I bought this jacket for the windy/Rainy weather in the Pacific Northwest and I ’ m very pleased with how it delivered. Warmth isn ’ t a strong suit of the jacket, but I think that ’s not something you ’ re after if you ’ re looking at this. Very happy to have this in my wardrobe for hopefully years to come

Excellent jacket for rainy days in the UK. Fits well, pockets well placed and designed. Glad I bought it

I ’ ve been using this jacket for the past 8 months and it ’s been extremely reliable in a variety of different conditions. Walking in sub zero temps, I found I was constantly undoing or taking off layers when using an insulated jacket, becoming sweaty and uncomfortable, but winter walking in the Skogsko I found it to be breathable and pleasant keeping me at a constant temperature. Once you stop, throwing on an insulated layer or hard shell will take care of the cooling down issue. Because of the fit( medium) and it ’s stylish cut, you get only compliments when out and about, but the quality if it ’s manufacture and rock solid construction means it ’s practically bulletproof and can be used in all sorts of work/outdoor scenarios. I ’ ve been using it more and more on the farm and for forestry work, as you can brush up and rub against tough bark or metal fencing or briars without so much as a scratch on the material, especially if it ’s been waxed a couple of times, and once it ’s waxed it becomes very tough and durable with a patina ’ d look which adds to its appeal. Worn under my Hoggs waterproof, this jacket becomes a completely wind proof, waterproof system- it can be blowing 60 mph and you just will not feel a thing- absolutely no warmth escaping from anywhere. I must mention that the construction, build, stitching and overall quality seems to be superior to the insulated version of this jacket, so I ’ d recommend buying a size larger and layering accordingly for winter, as this jacket just gets better with age. Out of all my outdoor clothing purchases in the last two years this has been my favourite, most useful, and will continue to provide reliable functionality for years to come.

[ Been wearing the jacket in temps ranging from 5 to 30 degrees and windy conditions. Roomy enough to add down layers as needed and the material of the jacket really cuts the wind. Skied in wet snowstorms and stayed dry. Fit is great for a curvy shape and not tight through the hips.

[ Perfect fall/spring jacket. In my opinion a bit more fashionable compared to other tech jackets. Good water repellent and wind protection. I did find size runs a bit small. I generally wear a large in jackets and coats, but needed a XL for this.

[ From the moment I unfolded my new Fjallraven Men's Sten Jacket, it was clear that this was more than just another piece of outerwear—it was an ensemble of thoughtfulness and intricate craftsmanship. The color, a refined shade of brown, immediately evokes a sense of timelessness. It whispers of autumn leaves, wood cabins, and mountain trails, whilst managing to feel completely at home in an urban environment. 🍂 Material& Durability One ca n't discuss a Fjallraven jacket without paying homage to its legendary G- 1000 fabric. This waxed material is both water- resistant and breathable. Rain or shine, this jacket has you covered—literally. I 've already taken it on a couple of hiking trips and it resisted snags from branches and thorns like a champ. It's a canvas that begs for adventure. 🕶️ Style& Versatility The Sten jacket walks that fine line between casual and refined. It offers a contemporary fit that hugs the body just enough to give it shape, without restricting movement. The pocket placements are both practical and stylish. It ’s a piece that will effortlessly see you from weekend camping trips to Monday meetings. 🎒 Functionality The four pockets are strategically placed and generously sized, proving that form and function are not mutually exclusive. There's a secret zipped pocket inside the jacket—perfect for keeping your wallet or phone secure. The adjustable cuffs and hem allow for customization depending on the weather, and the sturdy zipper comes with a tab that's easy to maneuver, even with gloves on. 🌱 Sustainability I was particularly impressed by Fjallraven ’s commitment to sustainability. They offer a Greenland Wax made from beeswax and paraffin, which is a sustainable way to enhance the jacket's durability and water resistance. 📏 Fit& Comfort As someone who often finds it challenging to get the perfect fit, this jacket exceeded my expectations. It manages to offer room where you need it—shoulders and chest—while tapering slightly at the waist. And the fabric, though rugged, feels surprisingly soft against the skin. 🛠️ Minor Drawbacks If I had to nitpick, I 'd say it's on the pricier side. However, considering its durability, style, and versatility, I see it as an investment piece that I 'll be wearing for years to come. To sum it up, the Fjallraven Men's Sten Jacket in brown is not just a garment; it's a trusty companion that embraces both function and fashion. Whether you ’ re an adventurer at heart or simply looking for a durable, stylish piece of outerwear that can stand up to the elements, this jacket is a versatile pick that ticks all the boxes.

[ I ’ ve bought it in Dark Navy, and I like this jacket. Traditional Fjallraven durability is combined with quite a style. Although it is positioned as an outdoor jacket, onemay wear it not only on a trail, but also around a city. Besides, it is perfect for traveling due to the multiple big pockets. This makes the jacket very versatile. I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”( 180 cm) 163 lb( 74 kg), and M fits me well.

I 've had this for 2 years now, and I 'm just now seeing any issues( zipper). This was my first item from Fjallraven, so I was new to the whole upkeep process with G- 1000 materials. Understand that this is not a heavy storm/foul weather jacket. It works great for limited exposure to rain. It will keep you dry, only if you maintain the wax layer. I 'm 6' 1 '' and about 190lbs and the Medium fits snuggly, not any room for layering.

I basically narrowed down my MH rain shell choice by the colour- the washed raisin is gorgeous. In the end, not the right jacket for me. Hand pockets are too low to be used with a back pack and a chest pocket for phone would be much appreciated. Also a fabric loop at the neck to hang the jacket would be great, can only be hung by the hood. I found it runs quite big- I 'm 5' 5 '', 140lbs- usually wear mediums found it quite baggy around the torso/stomach. Would size down to a small next time. It kept me nice and dry on my 5 day hike but I will be choosing something else that allows better use with a backpack for future trips.

Overall the simple webbing layout makes for a comfortable helmet fit. ... There are cheaper ones out there if you 're newer to these sports but I highly recommend the wall rider- a good all around

Nina L
Overall, I really like this helmet. First of all, I only considered MIPS helmets due to previous personal injuries. In the climbing industry, so far, there's only a few of them as I write this: this one, Smith, and two Black Diamond ones. The Black Diamond Capitan was too heavy for me, and the other Black Diamond was a contender, but in the end, the sizing was off, and even the largest size did n't fit my head well. This Wall Rider MIPS helmet is lightweight, comfortable, and so far, it has been durable. I 've used it on 10+ trips over the course of a year, and it has n't shown wear- and- tear, although the white top has gotten scratches( cosmetic) and is no longer pure white. The only downsides I would say are that the chin strap took me a while to dial down the sizing to where I wanted it( the strap barely covers my ears) and that the helmet sometimes covers part of my eyes if I look down too much, not staying in place. That is annoying when I 'm climbing, and sometimes I have to readjust the helmet by pushing it backwards so that it does n't cover part of my top eyesight.

Darline D
I wore the cheapest BD helmet for years before finally choosing to upgrade. I have pretty slick hair, so I needed a helmet to stay in place. The strap system in this helmet does just that. The lightweight foam body made wearing this very comfortable on long days. I can also attest after whipping upside down that my noggin is safe and was cushioned well.

Super light and comfortable helmet, love that it has MIPS as well.

This is a great helmet for climbing. It is light weight and easy to use. Mammut has great products and always great quality.

This is a great all around helmet, I 've used it on long alpine days as well as crag days and it is great in either use case. I really like the extra security of the MIPS system and the hardshell design.

When you add the cord to cart, the last number in the product code is the Diameter. 104 is 4mm, 105 is 5mm, etc.
5
I mean there's not a lot to say here, it's accessory cord on a spool, it serves exactly the purpose it needs to, just make sure your cuts are clean and well sealed
5
Great way to get cordelettes custom built or even for use as a static support line. Hold the rope tight, cut with a sharp knife under tension and do n't stab yourself once it goes through. Burn the ends with a standard lighter and you 're good. This is an easy rope to work with, it ties knots well and is plenty flexible to dress even the more complex multi- strand BHKs.
5
It's cord. Very good cord, but still... it's cord.
5
mamut cord is just as well made as their ropes. super reliable for anchors, rapelling, and getting out of tight spots.

[ As an outdoor enthusiast, weight is a critical factor in my gear selection, and the Men's GORE- TEX® Mitre Peak Waterproof Jacket( 2024) delivers impressively in this regard. This jacket offers exceptional waterproofing and breathability without unnecessary bulk, making it a perfect companion for alpine climbing, hiking, or any technical outdoor activity. One of its standout features is the highly functional pocket design—the spacious, elevated pockets remain accessible even while wearing a harness, which is a game- changer for climbers and mountaineers. The adjustable helmet- compatible hood provides excellent coverage without limiting visibility, ensuring protection against harsh weather. Additionally, the underarm ventilation zippers allow for great airflow, preventing overheating during intense activity. Overall, this jacket balances durability, weather protection, and lightweight performance perfectly. If weight matters to you as much as it does to me, this is an excellent choice!

[ Marmot has a long history of making high quality outerwear. And this history continues with Mitre peak Jacket. I have been a fan of Marmot since my first jacket( the Alpine Light Jacket) which has been with me for most of my outdoor adventures into the backcountry and high altitude peak. I still remember when the 10, 000 meter parka was the one of the best pieces of equipment a mountaineer could have for protection at very cold, high altitudes. Not sure if they still make that. Back to the review of this jacket. I like the fact that it is does not come with a liner so this makes it more versatile for layer. Not sure of the durability for and longevity as the material is lighter and therefor repeated use with pack straps and harnesses may wear stress areas out as they are not reinforced. I have yet to find rainy enough day where the jacket has not performed. Hopefully this waterproofing with continue over the life time of the jacket. My biggest issue now with the latest products from all makers( Patagonia, The North Face, etc) is the delamination of the gortex material after a few years of use. Hopefully they have resolved this issue. Looking forward to many years of use with this jacket. Check in with me in a few years, I will let you know how this performed
5
[ High Quality Jacket. Light weight. I 'm 5- 11, 235lbs. 48 chest and XXL fits perfect. Enough room for a thick layer underneath. The only bad is the Gore- Tex material feels a little crunchy but nothing serious. Will definitely wear on my next summit. Paid half of the original price too! Totally Rocks!

I have briefly worn this in the rain, but it was lightweight, comfortable and roomy enough to layer over my nano- puff jacket and another thermal layer under that without being too tight. Without the layers, it's comfortable. The hood provides good coverage without covering my eyes or mouth too much, but just enough. I like the color( turquoise), although my husband and I are now sort of matching..... I 'm happy with it.

I haven ’ t had any issues with this, the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is simply because I found the thigh adjustments didn ’ t adjust big enough. I could just have massive thighs, who knows, but women ’s bodies vary quite a bit. I would say anyone could enjoy this, whether you ’ re a beginner or more advanced. I would make sure to try it on in person to find the right size since they are very adjustable, just wished it was slightly more adjustable.

Light, comfy, and feels safe. Had many concussions( unrelated to climbing) so its nice to have a helmet that doesn ’ t feel annoying to put on or wear for extended period of time
5
Craig M
This helmet is so comfortable and light I forget I have it on. I repeatedly hiked out of ice crags and alpine environments not realizing I ’ m wearing my helmet until I knocked it on the roof of my car while getting in. The best helmet is the one you don ’ t know you ’ re wearing. I previously had an old petzl hard shell helmet and while comfortable, you knew you were wearing a helmet. We ’ ll see how this holds up long term, but after most of an ice climbing season, it ’s still pristine.

I 've used this solely for outdoor rock climbing so far. It's been amazing. The helmet is extremely breathable. It manages to stay on your head while your shifting it around, due to the highly adjustable fit. Numerous people have used it, and its been well liked due the the adjustability. I have used it in cold and rainy weather, and it fits seamlessly into my Mammut Eiger Extreme shell. Overall a great helmet for getting into climbing.
5
Alex J
I 've purchased many helmets for climbing/scrambling, and this is by far my favorite. It is lightweight enough that I barely notice it on my head or attached to my pack, it's extremely comfortable, and it fits over a hat if I want to wear one. I also like the low- fuss adjustments of the soft nylon straps in the back, which other helmets that I 've tried often make out of hard plastic, which can be uncomfortable. It fits snug, and though I( thankfully) have n't had to test its performance in a fall/during rockfall, I have no doubt it will do its job. I was a little worried about the durability of the exposed foam, but after carrying it through a heavy hailstorm and generally banging it around in the back of the car or on whatever summit I take it off on, I ca n't spot a single dent.
