I got this primarily for motorcycling in colder weather. It works great. I can wear this with my jacket and jacket liner and I do n't have to wear other layers. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. Have n't had long enough to know how long the battery would last but have used it for a couple hours switching between high and medium and still have battery left. Chicago Bears logo heated vest was a great addition for most husband's fan gear. He loves the versatility with pockets, gold down collar and ability to adjust heat settings and even wear without the heater. The heat on medium setting lasted an entire NFL football game including overtime! Will get much use in Illinois for dog walking& sporting events. It arrived earlier than expected and was exactly what I ordered. The size was perfect because of the easy to use size chart they supplied on “ The gerbing ” site. The heated jacket is great! We started it on the high setting until it got warm then we were able to lower the temperature using the battery to maintain and comfort level without getting too hot of too cold. Great product! Amazing interaction with staff. The whole process was a joy and look forward to doing business with them again.

It does get hot on the highest setting but it feels so good especially around the neck area. I highly recommend it. I also bought my wife the lady's version and she loves hers too.

I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

Bought this heated jacket as a riding layer but first I wanted to test it out on a walk with my dog. My neighborhood is near the water so we get a cold wind off the water. This jacket kept me warm in 38 degree( including windchill) at 25%. I have n't had to turn it up yet, but I ca n't wait to try the different levels.

This is my second Gerbing Fleece product. My first was a 7V fleece heated sweater/jacket from Cabela's( made by Gerbing) which is still working great after 4 years. My new Gerbing Gyde Zenith Fleece Heated Jacket? Outstanding! This one has 4 heat levels instead of three and a larger capacity battery which is a welcome improvement. This heated jacket fits well, is well made and while I tried the highest heat setting just for fun, I doubt I will need to use high very often. This thing puts out some serious heat. For all day outdoor adventures, I would recommend buying a couple of extra batteries. I did. I would n't hesitate recommending this to anybody.

I wore these shoveling snow and boy were they awesome. Usually I hate going out in the snow because my hands and feet are freezing, but these really helped. Now I 'm thinking about buying socks too! I bought a Large and they fit me perfectly. Inside of the gloves are very comfy, and they better be because these are n't cheap( but 100% worth it) Be sure to charge the battery packs before you go outside!
