Does excellent job blocking cold winds and keeps my core warm. I have used this vest for many early cold mornings and have been extremely happy with the breathability. Vest has extremely large pockets for those who like to carry phones, nutrition packets, etc. Only thing I would change about this vest is adding some added reflective areas. The small strip in the back reflects very well, but some in the front would be good. I have overcome this issue by just using my clip on safety light and it stays mounted well on the pocket area. Overall very pleased with this vest,& would definitely recommend it. Had it on under a windbreaker jacket& kept it on Medium setting for about 2. 5 hours at the soccer match. The temp outside was around 40 degrees& I stayed comfortable.

I ordered this vest to wear under my winter jacket to provide some heat during the cold weather. This works great. I have a 2 block walk from my train station so I put the vest heat on before I get off the train and when I hit the street, it is nice and warm and you can feel the heat on the front and back inside the winter jacket. Never kept it on all day to check the battery time. But I like the fact that you can use any other battery pack to power the vest. Vest is true to size and you want it snug so that the heated sections closer to the body.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He was looking for a thin vest to work over long sleeve button up shirts. This is the perfect weight for that purpose. I will update review once he ’s had the opportunity to open his gift and try it out!

[ It ’s far too warm to try this out here in the southeast yet, but I am impressed. It weighs little( comparable to a down vest), fits great( Medium, 5 ’ 7 ”, 155 lbs), and packs down small. It ’s just what I wanted for some emergency warmth when I ’ m out in the woods. I wanted synthetic insulation because we don ’ t have that dry cold of the frozen north in which down excels; I ’ m more likely to be cold and damp.

Just that extra touch of warmth maybe a little bit more and without the bulk. Its feather light. Needs a chest pocket but zippers and extra material add weight I get it. Glad I purchased this vest as it is easily a quick grab go to especially with the mild winter so far in the PNW. It will be with me every time I am carrying a day pack as well while skiing.

I 'll admit when I picked this vest up I was a little hesitant on its warmth keeping abilities do to its light weight and fragile feel. Let's just say I was very impressed how well it works to keep me warm. This is a great little vest. I would think the full sleeve jacket version would be too warm for me on a regular basis in the spring time in the PNW so this is perfect for my needs of casual walking around and hiking in 40- 50 degree weather. Over 55 degrees walking around I start sweating with this and a long sleeve shirt on. Very happy with this purchase.

I got this vest for Christmas and wore it the next few days hunting under my coat. I didn ’ t realize how comfortable I was until I turned it off. I was low 30 ’s and in the shadows. Only thing I could say I ’ m not on board with is monitor lights on the battery pack. Seems like you just have to let it auto shut off vs a manual shut down. The light on the chest isn ’ t ideal, I understand the ghost button but if I need it on in a hunting situation it is difficult to hide while game is in play.

I got a heated vest to watch a frigid high school state championship game and could not have been more impressed. I will wear for hunting and en lieu of a jacket all the time. So, I bought the fleece version for my father who is almost always cold and he loves it. My father in law, my sons, my wife, father and mother all have them now.
