Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

I love these sweatpants! They are stylish and comfortable. I wore them to the gym to workout and had plenty of range of motion and was able to go through all my circuit training. Moreover, they look so “ fresh ” that I like just wearing them out to eat at a casual restaurant or go shopping. They are also perfect for just lounging around the house or taking my dog for a walk. Bought these on sale when I was picking up something else. Needed a black pair of pants so it worked out. Was pleased with the fit and stretch on these. Waistband is nice and tall which is nice. Perfect pant for the gym or hiking. I 'd say the fit is slightly small but mostly good. I usually go between L and XL, with these the XL fits perfect.

The merino Wool is very soft and comfortable. Seems to hold up well so far over the first 3 months. Pretty stylish in my opinion for a type of sweatpants, I feel good wearing them at home or out to the store quick. The seems accurate, I am 6' 1 '', 190 lbs and got a Large.

[ I bought another brand's merino pants a few years ago when I found them on sale, but within a year they were stretched out and kind of a mess. I then upgraded to the Icebreaker joggers I had always wanted, which are perfect for lounging and for outdoor wear! I love mine so much that I bought these for my husband. They 're a great color, plenty long for his 6' 2 '' height, and cozy but polished. We are huge fans and from now on it's Icebreaker or nothing.

I ca n't speak more highly of both these pants and the jacket. Both stretchy and comfortable, and also breathable. Do n't feel like I 'm wearing a plastic poncho at all. And they kept me totally dry all day hiking in Peru during the rainy season.

I picked these up for winter fatbiking. Combined with a merino base layer, they are nearly perfect. They keep the cold air at bay and breath really well, like I have n't seen from other pants. Nearly perfect. As another reviewer mentioned, after less than 10 rides, the seated area has started piling. Excellent otherwise.

I bought these pants for ski touring, mountaineering, and backpacking and I have been nothing but impressed. The material is strong but still breathable and it repels water well. On a recent trip to Peru they kept me warm but also cool during the day. I am very impressed by how well these pants maintain a good temperature.
