The faux fly and back pocket make these superrrr versatile. They do not flare out much at the thigh which I like. These fit true to size for me. Having a waistband you can cinch is clutch too. With the many types of sports underwear out there it ’s hard to find a tight snug fit that will keep things in place. I ’ m prone to hamstring pulls so I need the compression from shorts to keep muscles tight and warm. These definitely do the trick. Great style and breathability. The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.

The shorts are clean and tight looking, I enjoy wearing them with a plain white or black poly tee with some low cut white shoes. It's great for a summer date night outfit or just other casual event that you want to have a nice clean look for. Pockets are very usable and not too shallow. There is actually a right hand side small zip up pocket that is good for a car key or small set of keys or some cash. [ Aside from being slightly snug( not enough to not wear), these are great for my casual runs. The shorts are just the right length to not get in the way, yet no rubbing or chaffing. The hidden zippered pockets are great for hiding money or an ID. They are n't the warmest if you are running on a chilly day, but they are n't letting me freeze either. They do later nice too so I can wear thin compression tights underneath without issue. The color is masculine too and matches most of my clothing. I 've really got no complaints comfort wise, so just know to size up a little bit.

[ I have about 25 miles in these shorts and I love them. They ’ re comfortable and light. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” and the 5 ” length is great for my body- type and preference. The pockets are useful and out of the way. There ’s one zippered pocked in the back, four elastic pockets that sit towards the back of my hips, and one internal pocket. The elastic pockets are great for quick grabs like gels. I ’ m usually a size 34 waist in my pants and the medium shorts are a great fit. They don ’ t sag or shift much at all when tied down. Overall these shorts feel minimal while still providing plenty of options to carry basics.

I have been running in a pair of Brooks shorts for close to a decade. As a long- distance runner, I need shorts that are going to go the distance! First, my favorite feature of these shorts is the numerous pockets along the comfortable waistband( including a zipper pocket). The smooth design of the elastic waistband is very comfortable even with things in the pockets. Second of all, the built- in liner compression type shorts are a good fit while not being too tight. I find that the 10 ” length helps to prevent them from bunching up when I go for a run or play sports. The media pocket is a nice addition, I can easily fit my phone that has a case on it without a problem( iPhone 14), but I mostly use it for my house key when I go for a run around the neighborhood. Definitely worth the buy. My husband was extremely impressed by these pocket compression shorts. The length is perfect. The pocket held the phone in place and there was no discomfort in anyway. I used this as a base layer when I went on a long hike. It felt supportive but not restrictive or overly tight. It helped retain heat but I didn ’ t feel as if it got really hit while wearing them. I like that it has the media pocket on the side. I was able to slide in my Large phone while it was in a case. Definitely a great buy!

yeah I got a few from Amazon for 35 bucks and used them without any problems. But I wanted to try these because the other ones had weird colors and I could n't just wear them alone. This was definitely worth the purchase and im very happy with the shorts. I use leg warmers and they go underneath them perfectly so its a great snug fit.

These are my new favorite shorts! Wow! Super comfortable, super light, and so very stylish. These are premium shorts that can be compared to very high end brands. I won ’ t mention the brand, but it rhymes with frou- frou- Lemon. These are just as nice, just as well made, and$ 30 cheaper. I love the navy color, I love the shorter length, and I love their versatility. I thought I would just go running in them, but now I wear them to CrossFit and even just our with friends( they have pockets!). Excellent buy!

[ Very good quality. The material is super since and appears to be moisture absorbing but hard to tell when it's this cold out and base layers are under. Worked well at the gym though in typical conditions on the treadmill. The texture is decent and my only complaint would be the sizing runs a tad large.

[ The Men ’s Journey 7 ” Short is a really comfortable pair of lightweight running shorts. These fit true to size being a 5 ’ 10 ” 180 lbs male who regularly wears large. I didn ’ t have to use the drawstrings, but they are available if needed. I personally really do prefer 7 ” inseam length shorts for the my comfort, and the length on these are perfect! From what I can tell so far with these shorts, the liner material used does well in moisture wicking to help keep dry during sweating! Last, a note on luxury! So many pockets and opportunities for storage in these shorts! I ’ m counting multiple stash pockets, a zippered back pocket, and even a pocket for your key to keep with you while running! Quality product and I would recommend to all runners!

[ The Men ’s Journey 7 ” short is a great pair of shorts for running. They have cell phone pouches on each side, both at the hip and rear hip. There is also a nice secure zip pocket on the rear that can hold a standard phone, but not a plus size phone. Running with a phone in the rear zip pocket felt a little loose, but the other positions were great. I did not feel much phone movement in the hip pouches, nor did I feel like my phone would fall out at any time. The rear zipped pocket might be better for keys or a credit card. The shorts were a good size for running with adequate length and good moisture wicking material. They have internal underwear, but they could be worn over boxer briefs and still feel fine. They generally were still dry after a run other than the waist band. The shorts were great from a design for technology while running perspective. They are well designed running shorts, but would not be great shorts for casual wear since there are no front pockets. They also are a little short for casual wear. I really liked that the shorts had a good dry fit material to keep you dry and cool during a run. The multiple phone pouches were also a great addition. I question how long the pouch elastic will last, but that will take time to evaluate. The only complaint I would have is that the shorts material was wrinkly. Out of the box they were wrinkly, and that hasn ’ t gone away yet after several runs. I ’ ll have to wash them to see if that smoothes them out. I suspect it will based upon other similar materials I ’ ve had in clothing. All in all these are great shorts and I ’ m glad to have a pair of them to run in.

I barely notice them while running, which shows how well- made they are. The elastic waistband is snug but not restrictive, and it stays in place even if I forget to tie the string. The 7 '' length is just right — not too short — and the design holds up well after washing and drying. The fabric is perfect for anyone who sweats a lot. It wicks moisture away really well, so I don ’ t get that uncomfortable damp feeling. I love how comfortable they are, even when I ’ m just wearing boxers. They ’ re versatile enough to wear for running short and medium distances and then run errands afterward without feeling out of place. The pockets are great, especially the back pocket, which easily fits my large phone. It ’s a nice bonus that I can carry my phone comfortably without needing an armband.

Before receiving these I never heard of the VRST brand so I am glad to know they have clothing for people who are active outside. First thing about these shorts is the fabric, they are made from nylon/elastin. This combo gives you a very soft stretch short that feels great on the skin and moving around will be a breeze due to the stretch it provides. Second the fabric has moisture wicking technology to prevent being sweaty and sticky as you move around. The next big plus is the 50 UPF which stands for ultraviolet protection factor meaning any area the clothing is covering will be guarded from the rays outside. Overall if you or someone you live with is active and loves being outside this brand is essential in your wardrobe.
