The shorts are clean and tight looking, I enjoy wearing them with a plain white or black poly tee with some low cut white shoes. Before receiving these I never heard of the VRST brand so I am glad to know they have clothing for people who are active outside. First thing about these shorts is the fabric, they are made from nylon/elastin. This combo gives you a very soft stretch short that feels great on the skin and moving around will be a breeze due to the stretch it provides. Second the fabric has moisture wicking technology to prevent being sweaty and sticky as you move around. The next big plus is the 50 UPF which stands for ultraviolet protection factor meaning any area the clothing is covering will be guarded from the rays outside. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. Another nice pair of shorts from Dick's, I 've gotten quite a few now from Dick's Sporting Goods and have been happy with all of them. This pair is no exception. Really excellent shorts in fact. These are made of a thin moisture wicking material with an inner integrated 'underwear' compression part. This is well- designed and it's not too tight but supportive enough for any activity, whether running or plyometrics. This are quite short, a real modern style running short length. The shorts are loose enough to not restrict your movement when you are active. But with the inner compression part you do n't need to feel self- conscious if you 're down on your back lifting your legs in a fitness class or something. The stitching seems very good, with it being stitched in an eye- pleasing way- by this I mean it's not just a plain 'bag' like one- piece short- it looks good. There are two pockets on either side with the left one having an inner zipped pocked. This is n't real large but it's stretchy, so my mid- sized Samsung phone fit in it just fine. It's seems to be sturdy enough to hold a phone without it bouncing inside there. So, a really good pair of shorts, they seem to be well- made and well- designed.

My only complaint is that the actual color of the shorts dont match what is shown in the pictures. The gray ones for example look like a lighter gray but in person are very dark. I find this to be a common pattern with Nike ’s products. Maybe they use a filter on their photos and edit the lighting which in turn changes the color in the photos. These are great shorts. I mainly use them for running and functional training but they are so comfy i even wear them around the house casually. I love shorts that are a bit forgiving around the waist and dont feel like they are suffocating me. The Nike Stride shorts tend to make me feel that way. Also the liner is a great size on these shorts and actually fit, much wider than the stride shorts. I think if you ’ re built wider or maybe your a body builder type with more muscle, then these might be a better fit. I wear Medium in shorts and pants in general and I ordered a Medium in these.

Another benefit is that after a wash, they dry very quickly and this is without using a dryer- making them ready to use with a quick turnaround. The waistband is a great touch as it keeps them in place and not sliding down, and then the drawstrings are there in case you need. Great shorts for workouts, however I can see myself wearing these in the warm summer days casually too. Just a great short overall, highly recommend.

Favorite shorts I own. I have worn these a handful of times and they are I don ’ t have one negative thing to say about them! I ’ ll wear them on runs and just keep them on for whatever activity or errands I do after that. The zippered pocket in the back is great. It is big enough to hold an iPhone 13 pro but not too big where it ’s moving around a lot. The zipper opens and closes smoothly without any snags. Definitely want more of these!

[ Wow! Just ran 2 miles in these can honestly say I ’ m very pleased. I typically would never run in shorts due to chaffing but thought I would give these a try since they were advertised as sweat wicking. The shorts did not disappoint. During the run I did sweat quite a bit as you can see from armpits in pic and the shorts did not get wet one bit. I wore a size 0x and at first try on thought they were a big loser than I would like, but that loser fit played into comfortability. During my run I was extremely comfortable, did not have to tug on bottoms to pull them down or adjust fitting. They also have built in underwear, which is a plus. This is a piece you want regret, if your active, they perform exactly has advertised and if your looking to run errands comfortably you will still be stylish.

I am plus size and these are the best fitting loose athletic shorts j have found. The fabric feels super light, perfect for workouts or wearing out and about on hot days. My only complaint about these shorts is that the pockets are not big enough to hold my cell phone securely. It hangs out and falls out easily. That being said these are still my go to shorts.
