[ The first thing I noticed about these cleats are the amazing design, and the bright colors. On closer inspection, the materials Nike used are amazing. They ’ re quality. No loose threads. Sleek. Colorful. And will wash easy. The ankle netting is amazing. Very stretchy, but form fitting. Makes the cleats easy to get on. The cleats themselves on the bottom of the sole are very sturdy. They won ’ t wear down…. ever. You could walk on cement and they ’ d stay in shape. The spikes are very grippy on turf and grass. They don ’ t slip and slide. They fit very well, although like most soccer cleats, they ’ re very narrow. They surprisingly don ’ t pinch the feet when you get them on. They ’ re very hard to get on, but when you do, they feel nice. The laces could be a little longer and thicker, but they tie very easy and no double knotting will be needed. The inner soles are very comfortable. They seem padded, almost squishy. The toe box is very solid. The tongue is part of the stretchy ankle fabric and works very well on this cleat. The cleats are “ low tops ” but don ’ t feel that way. They grip the whole foot very well. They allow cutting on the field without losing support. They feel great when coming into contact with the soccer ball. The material used on the sides are almost sticky when kicking the ball. They will definitely increase your accuracy on the net and passes. They make dribbling the ball very simplistic and that ’s a great thing. Honestly, the only complaint I could ever have about this certain pair of cleats is they ’ re a little narrow and hard to get on. Other than that, almost perfect. Great job by Nike on these, highly recommend for anyone who wants their soccer cleats to be more comfortable without losing any performance.

Bought for my 14 yr old son. For reference his favorite Nike model is the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 elite which began release in 2017. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!

[ Just picked up some new soccer cleats for the upcoming Spring season. I figured I ’ d get them broken in to reduce any foot issues during the season. Upon receiving them I immediately noticed how sturdy a cleat they were. Some are too light weight and flimsy at the base where the shoe meets the cleat. These are not like that. Sturdy throughout, yet very comfortable. Great support throughout too, despite being a low top. The design and color on the cleat are fantastic as well. The Purple Agate color really pops, yet it ’s not too flashy. The ribbing on the toe of the shoe will help with ball control as well as toe dexterity and easy, fluid movements. The cleats on the bottom seem very firm. I don ’ t see them breaking down quickly. They should last for many seasons. The fit of the shoe is a little tight still after breaking them in quite a bit. I ’ d say size up a half size if you ’ re thinking of getting them. What I ’ m enjoying most about the shoe is the sturdiness. I feel like this will be a good cleat for quite a few seasons. I ’ d say the one drawback is that they ’ re a little tight. Like I mentioned earlier. I ’ d buy one half size up next time. I hope these continue to break in and loosen up. Overall I ’ m pleased with the shoe. We ’ ll see how they continue to loosen up for me though.

The grass is very bad on our practice field so I got him these over AG. My son said this MG cleat pattern is perfect. His FG cleats would catch a weed or dig in too much and he would trip. Some parts or our field have thick grass, lots of weeds and also dry hard dirt so FG was too catchy. My son loves the flashy Mbappe colors as well. Bought for my 14 yr old son. For reference his favorite Nike model is the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 elite which began release in 2017. Since he outgrown his last pair in 2020, he has primarily ran through the complete Phantom elite line the last 4 years and always compared them to the hypervenoms. Since receiving these he ’s said they made up for all of the flaws of the phantom GT ’s and GX ’s. Also he complimented how the grip of the ball was better than the Hypervenom ’s which no clear he ’s tried ever came close to. Finally I am happy he ’s confident and satisfied with a clear that can provide what he needs… He wore a 9 in the GX elite start of fall and grew out of them by January so he started wearing my Hypervenom 3 ’s which are a 10. 5. We ordered him a pair of these lunar elites in a 10. 5 and his foot more skinny than full but hit gives him just enough room to grow through the summer and I ’ m sure we ’ ll be back on the market afterwards for fall. A feature I like as a parent is they have foam padding in the heel/achilles area! I thought that is an under- rated feature that adds to the comfort. We could not tell a weight difference between the Luna and the mercurial elite. Highly recommend!!!

[ Normally with these types of shoes, I have to buy them a little larger, about a half size up, I had n't done that for these shoes and had ended up with a shoe that is closer to the size I wear with other shoes that fit differently. Unfortunately, they were a bit on the tighter size but they hugged my feet well. I loved how my feet looked in these! Despite the size issue, they were still slightly comfortable to wear and to use when playing on the field. The design was unlike any other shoe that I have owned. They were definitely unique and eye- catching despite not having bright colors. I liked this fabric as it was breathable and fit the shape of my foot. My favorite part was the design. I love black shoes and they are very sleek. Due to my own error, I would only get another pair that was sized up for my comfort.

[ To start with, this is the third pair of Zoom Vapors I ’ ve had. I ’ ve been in love with the shoe since it first launched, as its flexibility( mobility) and look are unrivaled. This latest version is a great new take on a classic design. The material feels incredibly light( better contact on the ball), yet durable—all while being made with at least 20% recycled materials. Fit: These are true to size, possibly a tiny bit small, but that ’s a positive in cleats. The shoe itself, is, like most other Zoom Vapors, on the more narrow side. It ’s designed to be snug on your foot on the pitch. If you have wider feet and intend on wearing thick socks, maybe order a half size up. Look: This is my favorite Nike cleat to date. With its all black design and very subtle swoosh and accents, it looks incredibly sleek—even the cleats and sole are dark. This color scheme is going to look the best, the longest, as it will hide all of the scuffs( and dirt) from regular use. Quality of Materials: I ’ d give it a 9/10 on quality. The shoe feels incredibly durable and performs well on the pitch. I ’ m only detracting 1 point as the tongue feels too thin and potentially weak. [ At first, I was scared that they were gon na be uncomfortable because they look kind of like they didn ’ t have a lot of support. But, after I put them on, I was happy to see that they were actually very comfortable. I played a few games and they didn ’ t even really need to be broken into. I have wide feet and I got my regular size and they fit great. They ’ re really lightweight. The material looks like it would be fragile but I haven ’ t seen any damage or wear& tear yet.

He loves the way they feel! Tossed the old pair and these are now worn almost daily whether in the yard or at a game! He loves them! [ To start with, this is the third pair of Zoom Vapors I ’ ve had. I ’ ve been in love with the shoe since it first launched, as its flexibility( mobility) and look are unrivaled. This latest version is a great new take on a classic design. The material feels incredibly light( better contact on the ball), yet durable—all while being made with at least 20% recycled materials. Fit: These are true to size, possibly a tiny bit small, but that ’s a positive in cleats. The shoe itself, is, like most other Zoom Vapors, on the more narrow side. It ’s designed to be snug on your foot on the pitch. If you have wider feet and intend on wearing thick socks, maybe order a half size up. Look: This is my favorite Nike cleat to date. With its all black design and very subtle swoosh and accents, it looks incredibly sleek—even the cleats and sole are dark. This color scheme is going to look the best, the longest, as it will hide all of the scuffs( and dirt) from regular use. Quality of Materials: I ’ d give it a 9/10 on quality. The shoe feels incredibly durable and performs well on the pitch. I ’ m only detracting 1 point as the tongue feels too thin and potentially weak. To be clear, it hasn ’ t torn or had any issues, but I just worry that it might. Overall: I ’ ve loved wearing them and their performance is fantastic. The shoes are comfortable, secure, and with their thin design, you have immense control when striking the ball. I ’ m a huge fan of the color scheme, though, I wouldn ’ t complain if there was a tiny more color popping on the swoosh( maybe a dark grey?). Beyond that, the only other change is perhaps a slightly thicker tongue on the shoe, for both protection and peace of mind. Highly recommend these cleats!

[ The cleats fit true to size. They are flexible enough to keep you stabilized during motion and planted in the field. As long as you lace them tight, you should not have any issues long term. I could run in them just as fast as any shoe. The matte black material is pretty breathable with a subtle shine. I like wearing black shorts and black socks with these. The material surprisingly did not scuff and provided adequate protection in a game of soccer. I don ’ t think I would change anything about them. Attached is a photo before the game.

[ The Zoom Vapor 16 Academy cleats feel like top of the line comfort boots with every step. The zoom air technology incorporated into the boots is noticeable by providing comfort and functionality. With every step and push off, I felt the boot propel and jolt me forward. The grip from the stud pattern also felt very sturdy on multiple playing surfaces. My initial 10+ hours in the boots on firm ground and turf fields allowed me to break the boots in pretty quickly and adjust them to my feet. These are slimmer boots with a more snug feel if you go true to size. A half size up in these would be my recommendation if you like a little room in your fútbol cleats. They feel like great materials so far and don ’ t get overwhelmingly hot in sunny playing conditions. The simple boot design will allow for some stunning color combinations. Overall the cleats are a great use of comfort technology with a simple design to allow for boots with great fit, form, and function.

Bought these online based upon my 13 year old daughter's regular Nike shoe size and they fit perfectly. Took her maybe one day to break them in and she loves the sleeve/sock component These tend to be her go to and fortunately she loved the color. Ca n't go wrong with Nike cleats.

I play college soccer and had purchased the Luna cleat last year in my true size( W 8. 5/ M 7). I had an issue with them being too tight. With this knowledge I ordered a half size up this year( W 9/ M 7. 5). The half size up fits much better and is more comfortable. Definitely recommend these cleats for players who play year round or are at a more advanced skill level.

Order a size up from normal size as Nike recommends a half size. My son said they are so comfortable, dribbles better, and shoots better than his prior academy phantom. This is our first time with the Luna we had the older version black and gold maybe got.

Up close It does look like cheap quality once broken in, especially when you try cleaning the white, it feels like the paint is going to scrub off. But my daughter loves them, she gets a lot of compliments on these. She doesn ’ t get any blisters or complain of any discomfort. She ’s even played in the rain with slippery mud and on turf. They ’ re still holding up. We ordered a half size up according to the other reviews and they fit her perfect.
