As I was out shoveling, I discovered the designer winter coat I bought from a big department store was NOT waterproof. Unfortunately, I weigh 274, so finding a coat is n't easy. After researching, I decided to try this one even though it is over$ 300. It fits great( it is n't loose, but it is comfortable and I can sit with it zipped)! It also is not puffy, so there is no added bulk. The sleeves are nice in that they are not too short and I can tighten them at the wrist with the Velcro. I wear them alone or with the Winter Pro Tight as a base layer for skiing, winter ice and mixed climbing, snow shoveling, dog walking and general all around wear. Great stretch and fit the thigh pockets are excellent for ski pass and cell phone, hip pockets for Porsche key fob and folding knife. I bought an orange pair then an Olive Drab set I liked them so much. Probably get a black set next!
