I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I was wearing this jacket when I had a horse riding accident. When I tell you I absolutely flew off the horse and slammed into the gravel- this jacket should have ripped immediately. Instead it actually ended up protecting my body from getting any cuts. I threw the jacket in the wash and it came out seamless as if nothing had happened to it. My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Zippers are fail points for waters so we elected to minimize the water ingress points. Tl; dr kept us dry. Breathed well for intense, medium duration active wear

They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. The new 3L Fabric is a huge improvement over the older Foray, it's robust, has just enough stretch, and overall is impressive. I was somewhat hesitant as they moved away from Gore but seeing it in person I am 100 percent a fan and it's better in every way. The only improvement, and OR please make this happen, is the branding. Make a Blacked out version without the contrasting logos, that would put this jacket as the best among the best.

This jacket filled this role perfectly and has kept me dry while exploring the north Maine Woods more recently while hiking through the cloud rain forest in Costa Rica. On a cool rainy day, you can keep warm with all the vents closed and a puffy underneath. While in warmer humid weather, just open the massive vents on the sides and keep dry while still being able to `` breath '' and stop sweat from soaking you from the inside out. It is very weight efficient, easily packed, and well cut for the active user. For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

[ My first Big Agnes tent and I 'm pleased with it. I took it out for a 7 mile hike two night stay and two different camp sites last weekend and was happy with it, the apprecated the pound in weight I would have gained if I went with another brand I was considering. I use it for just myself 5' 10 '' and it fits me just fine with a little room at top or bottom as well as room for pack if desired. I did stand my pack up in the vestibule second night and that fit fine with enough room to get out. I use Big Agnes ultra core sleeping pad and that fits fine. Appreciate the two stuff pockets on sides and smaller pocket on top. Zipper door operated well. I like all the different stake out points and options. I ended up using one sticks on each side to raise the upper guy lines on the fly about 2ft. This really helped with air flow. I read in a review that you may need additional stakes for this tent, I bought 6 additional and found that I needed to use 5 of them to stake every guy out. I will use this tent for many many years to come.

[ I 've had my Kelty Galactic 30 for 5 years, and just bought a pair for my son and his wife. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck in a sleeping bag for backpacking or camping. Packs small, lightweight, and reasonable price. It has a lot of loft and is very cozy. The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. [ This is exactly the jacket I needed: a waterproof shell that has good thickness to it. I 'm a 5'11 '' woman and the men's jacket fits my frame perfectly! I have broader shoulders than an average woman and find that, as a result, arm length, in regular women's sizes, suffers. Nicely made, quality material. I do n't do well in the heat and this is my favorite top. It feels like you 're wearing nothing, it's so light and airy. The fit is good and flattering. I like that the collar and arm holes are tight enough for good coverage. It does n't restrict my movement when I 'm rock climbing. I bought a light color and you can slightly see my bra though the fabric, which I personally do n't mind.

I like the color scheme the overall design, Including the yolk sleeve or Raglan sleeve, freedom of motion. The chest pocket fits my every day essentials securely. These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

Love love love this shirt. It's lightweight and great for summer or as a baselayer in fall/spring. Unlike most shirts that hit on my upper hip/waist, this one falls at mid- hip, making it flattering and letting me raise my arms without showing skin. I use it for running and hiking and it dries quickly- it's thin but not transparent. I 've bought multiple ones!

Very light weight. Packing compressed it a lot and it took a couple days for it to expand out. My first time wearing it was in 30 degrees and it kept me very warm. I am 5' 6 '' and a large was a good fit for me, especially for arm length. I am a little concerned about longevity because of how light weight it is, but time will tell on that. Material and stitching are top notch and the jacket is very comfortable to wear. I HATE the feeling of gortex and this has more of silky feel inside and out, which is perfect. For a general use winter jacket this is perfect.

A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

Amazing pants. Have worn these on the John Muir Trail the last two years. Great slightly baggy fit that breath really well and don ’ t bind on the knees when having to step up large rocks. Highly recommend after having worn for multiple trips and after having tried many other brands, these pants are my go to. Also wearing the Trail Sender shirt after being so happy with these. I 'm normally a size 32( male, 6 ’ 2 ”, 192lbs) wear a 34 to allow for a little extra room in the thigh. Easy to adjust with the built in belt/tie.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!
