[ The fit of the snood is incredible. It fits nice and tight but is comfortable to my face. I am used to using a buff where I 'm worried about the covering moving around while in use. With the snood, it stays in place and fits perfectly with my ears. Because the fit is tighter than what I am used to, I thought the snood would be too tight. However the materials stretched and was forgiving in the areas that I was concerned about( neck and throat). The snood was very comfortable to wear. The material is comfortable and when completing an outdoor walk, I had pulled the snood down and forgot I was wearing it until I saw my reflection in the mirror. The fabric was very soft and breathable. The fleece interior made the materials warm to the skin and protected me against harsh winds, but the breathable mesh in front allowed for optimal oxygen intake. My favorite feature of the snood was the insulation with the material. I have used several face coverings in the past, but have experienced less than desirable results. The insulation material provided ultimate protection against a harsh cold wind and allowed me to experience a workout for longer periods of time. The snood is fitting to my face and does n't move around or drop down from placement on my face.

These gaiters are the best. They are very sturdy and fit perfectly over my hiking boots. I wear a size 8 boot and I got the small size. The small works perfect when I 'm just wearing leggings/hiking pants/jeans. This is my second pair. I have a medium size as well that I like to wear when I 'm wearing my snow pants. They are great for wearing in the snow or on dewy morning hikes and prevent my socks/lower pant legs from getting soaked. My mediums I 've had for about 10 years and they are still going strong!

I was initially skeptical of the durability of these gaiters. They are very lightweight and very packable. I used them on a 10 day hike in the arctic( fall conditions) and they surpassed all my expectations. They performed well in the dry sand, tundra bogs, through rock and boulder scrambles, driving rain and snow as well as the muddy quicksand. They stayed in place well, the draw cord at the top held fast. The waterproofing was excellent and maintained its breathability. Hanging them or laying them out under the tent's fly/vestibule allowed any mositure accumulated through the day to be dry by morning. For these type of conditions I would highly recommend them. I would be suspect of the durability to low branches and brambles in the south, but OR has solid options for that.

I went hunting with my brother in Idaho where he was living and was unprepared for the weather! Lucky for me my brother had these amazing gaitors! they saved my feet on a multiday upland hunting adventure. We hiked 30+ miles in snowy conditions, and not good dry snow but that wet nasty snow. From the lace hook to the velcro enclosure and cinch strap at the top they work great. I went with a size large. I am 6' and about 180lbs and stomp around on size 11 feet. I do n't know how I lived without these! I am a snowmaker at a Utah ski resort and in the past I was constantly having to deal with wet boots, water wicking up my pants, etc. That is a thing of the past when wearing the gaiters. This is my first pair of gaiters, and I wish I had discovered them years ago. This is the goto gaiter for snowmakers at the ski area I work at. The size large Outdoor Research Expedition Crocodile Gaiter fit great with my size 9. 5UK( 10. 5US) Scarpa Inverno double shell boots, and with size 10EE Danner Light hiking boots. Besides work on the mountain I grab them to walk the dog or shovel throughout the winter. They ’ re super handy when you don ’ t want to put on snow pants but also don ’ t want to get your regular pants wet in the snow. My only complaint is the velcro on the locking tab at bottom of the gaiter( by the toe of the boot) has separated from its backing on one of my gaiters. This seems to be a common issue, and this tab isn ’ t found on the military version of this gaiter. It hasn ’ t effected the functionality of the gaiter, so I ’ d just call it annoying.

I purchased these pants for my winter adventures in Yellowstone National Park. I planned a photography trip and wanted to make sure I would be warm and dry for the times spent walking through, kneeling or sitting in the snow. I used these Crocodile Gaiters for hunting and hiking through the mountains in Colorado. What can I say about the fabric performance: Waterproof, Breathable, Abrasion- Resistant, Windproof. They check all of those boxes. They make me look like I know what I 'm doing, and I like that. I gave the gaiters an 8/10 because they 're a little more difficult and time consuming to put on compared with my other gaiters. These seem to be the quieter, less crumply pair though.

Not much to say about these since they are just simple gaiters. However, they just work. They fit well and keep your legs and feet as dry as any gaiter can. They also have held up very well.
