[ I bought this mat for travel, and it's awesome. I wanted it to be thin enough to fold for easy carry- on, and grippy enough that I did n't slip when I get sweaty. I 'm very satisfied with the grip-- more than other manduka mats I 've tried and about the same high grip level as my Jade mat I use regularly. Very happy with the mat!

[ This is my second eKO SuperLite Yoga Mat. I keep one in my office for lunchtime yoga breaks, and the second goes backpacking with me. As it's lightweight, it is n't as well cushioned as my heavier Manduka mat, but it has excellent traction and folds down so packably small!

This mat folds up nicely for travel, easily fitting into a crammed suitcase then coming out as if it had never been folded. It's amazing. Bear in mind this is a travel mat therefore it is thin! May want additional padding underneath Once you reach your destination or you may desire a thin mat mat. Just know what you are ordering. It is unfair to the store and manufacturer, for you, a customer, to buy a travel mat then give it a poor rating because it's thin, when that is what a travel mats all about!!!

I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

I ordered the Manduka Prolite( 5. 0mm), the Jade Yoga Fusion( 7. 9mm) and the Jade Yoga Harmony( 4. 7mm) mats. Spending this much on a mat I wanted to make sure I would be happy with what I ended up with. No doubt this is the best mat for me. The mat is heavier than the others but there is no slippage and the extra cushion for my knees makes it the best choice above others. For the record, I would have chosen the Jade Harmony over the Manduka Prolite if the choice was limited to one or the other of those two.

The grip is really good, extra thickness is really comfortable but I can still easily balance on 1 foot, plus the extra length is nice. I 'm 5` 10 and glad I dropped the extra$ 10, but do n't think my wife would need the extra length. I was tired of my hands slipping in down dog while using a Gaiam mat. I tried a matymat from Amazon but the material would literally stretch while you were stretching. I did a fair amount of research online which led me to this mat. It is truly the Rolls Royce of mats. I wish it would have come with a carrying strap in this price range but it is still worth the money. I would recommend to just splurge on it and never have to buy another mat again.
