I love that they are adjustable at the waist so when I was on the sled, I did n't have to worry about them moving around. I only wore leggings underneath and was plenty warm on single digit Fahrenheit days going 30 mph+. My only small issue was that they were a little short, but my legs are super long so I would 've needed a 34 '' inseam for them to go all the way down to the ground.
