I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

They are also just killer pants to wear /bike around town. The fabric is really durable but has enough stretch to accommodate movement( climbing, bouldering in the gym, riding a bike, stretching, etc). The fit is a little bit tight; most people will probably find them to be a nice athletic fit( and fine with the stretch) but if you have thighs like pistons they might be too tight. This is my second pair, the first pair are still doing great except the pocket liners wore out. Hopefully that durability issue has been solved. While minor, it has been annoying.

These pants were perfect for a cold day with 40mph winds and 15 degree windchill hiking at 12, 000 feet in the alpine in January. They were totally windproof and I was actually warm when we were ascending, but perfect temperature when descending. They fit fairly narrow, so if you are planning on layering underneath I would recommend sizing up. The velcro at the hips helps customize sizing and I really love the higher rise on the waist. These are my go to pants for non- skiing winter adventures.

For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I like the pants but I ’ d prefer a light soft lining which the Holly pants have and a softer outside material which probably is less water resistant. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

They 're flexible and keep my legs protected from scrapes. They also keep my legs warm outside while I walk to the climbing gym in the winter. We live in New Brunswick where the winters can be pretty brutal, but just took a pair of thermals on underneath and even winter they have been fantastic. I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

Bought these as lounge and active pants because I do n't love super tapered joggers from other outdoor/active wear brands. These are by far my favorite pant in this category. The straight leg, knee gusset, and stretchy waist band are perfect. I sized up to a large due to thicker legs, but the regular length still fit as a 5' 8 '' male.

I love these pants so much I ’ m that I own 4 pairs. Only thing I wish was that the lengthen was slightly shorter. 32 for regular fit is slightly too long. Other wise than that they are awesome. I think these are the only pants I wear. There is a nice amount of stretch and it drys super fast.

I have never, ever had a hiking pant that is actually long enough for me until these& the belt makes them even more flattering!!! the color is absolutely stunning& is so fun to make outfits for the trail with! also really great, deep zippered pockets( so rare) of my dreams!

I 've been looking for a lighter version of hike and cross- country ski pants and these fit the bill perfectly! I practically 'live' in these pants as they are really comfortable! I appreciate OR making these pants with shorter 30 '' inseams in addition to regular 32 '' inseams. They are high quality and should last several years.

Used these on a hike up Mount Monadnock, temp was sub freezing the entire hike and I was comfortable during the climb. I 'm 6' 225lbs and ordered an XL. They were slightly big on me despite the sizing guide saying this should be my size. I had to draw down the belt as far as I could. However there would be plenty of room to layer if I needed too
