I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

[ I purchased this shirt in a medium being a 6 foot tall 175 pound male and the fit is what most people would call sport like. I like that it ’s a little long because most medium shirts are hardcore belly shirts when I pick my arms up a little.( I ’ m not that type of guy) If you are than this shirt might not be for you. I have a snap button shirt this will go under on my backpacking endeavors this summer. It seems like weight enough to be worn under something without being too hot but I guess we will see. Being light weight makes me skeptical about its ability to resist wear and tear, however I can ’ t speak from trekking experience.

I have 2- I black that I 've put through the dryer, the other I 've hung dry. The one going through the dryer has got the pills( like others have mentioned). For me, they 've been indestructible. Expensive but the cost/benefit has been worth it. I 'm surprised that others have worn theirs thin- I use mine in the bush constantly and have been anything but gentle on them.

I fell between sizes and sized up because it was described as somewhat slimmer fitting, but I had to exchange for the smaller size because there was plenty of room through the middle and enough in the hips( also does n't go low on the hips. The details are thoughtful. The fabric is slightly sturdier than other typical similar shirts, but it has the following vents and sleeves can roll up with tabs. Amazing shirt and a go- to for me, especially for personal travel. Material has a linen type feel but does not wrinkle and holds its shape much better than linen- more durable. Also not scratchy on the skin like some cheaper alternatives. Great for a hot day, almost in replace of a broken in Hawaiian shirt but nice enough to wear out to dinner, etc. I own it in both the Sand Stone tan and the Green colors. Periodically check to see if Fjallraven has released a light sky blue, which to me would be the best color… please make one Fjallraven! I ’ d buy two;)

I ’ ve only owned a couple of these for a month or so, but I think I ’ ve found the perfect summer shirt. Stylish, versatile, comfortable, and wrinkle- resistant. I wore it for a beach day this past weekend when I wasn ’ t on the water, am thinking of how I can dress it up for a casual summer wedding next month, and won ’ t leave on any summer trips/vacations without them. I usually like a slimmer fit, but this is a perfect relaxed fit. I ’ m not swimming in the material, but it ’s also very airy and comfortable, and just fitted enough to look really nice. I can ’ t thank Fjallraven enough for carrying size xs in men ’s!! If I had to pick a gripe with the shirt it ’s that it doesn ’ t have 100% full mobility when completely lifting your arms out and above your head, but I also know that ’s not what this shirt is intended for. Terrific product and a fair price for how exceptional it is.

A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.
