These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. I love these Sierra Mid Lace Waterproof Boots so much I purchased a second pair. They are so comfortable and great for walking/hiking long distances in any kind of weather. I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

I got these for work, I work in landscape. I really love the style of these, I get lots of compliments on them. I got the tan leather color which I love. originally went half size bigger like website suggested but it was to big so I went with my true size a 10. I ’ ve worn them the last week so far so good took a day to break them in they were tiny bit stiff but so far I enjoy them. Wore them during the rain as well and was impressed with the waterproofing feet stayed nice and dry.

I took these on my rafting trip down the GRAND CANYON. I brought them for the side hikes from the river. Which are usually washes with some water crossings. These shoes did so well! They have incredible traction for climbing over big rocks in dry washes, or on slick ledges. The traction is incredible! They were comfortable right off the go and my custom orthotics fit in then since they have a removable foot bed. I loved these boots on the trip! Completely waterproof over the foot but if water gets up to the mid part where the laces are water does come in. I am going to look for a goretex hiking gater for that.

Let me start off by saying I am a true 6. 5, never a 6 and very super rarely a 7. I used their size chart and measuring guide and found that I fell between the 6. 5/7 so I decided to size up and I 'm glad I did. I have just enough room around my toe in the box, and my heel has just enough space to move until they really get soft and cozy. I also have bunionettes, and sizing up with a regular width is definitely giving them some room. They are very comfortable on my feet. I purchased the black, and I am very pleased with how beautiful these boots are. Much prettier in person than the picture. I will probably purchase a second pair that I will be happy to dirty up so I can keep a nicer pair. I am very happy with my purchase!

I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair( from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out. I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I did n't love the roll- top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6 '' waterproof-- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I 've worn them to work and they do n't look out of place with my button- up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I 've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and have n't given me blisters. My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short- even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3- 4 '' of lace to tie with. The 6 '' roll- top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

These are the third pair of this shoe I 've purchased- that's how much I love them. It looks good and feels great from the shopping mall to the hiking trail. I ca n't attest to their waterproof- worthiness, but I can tell you that the foot bed is slightly padded and the toe box is perfect for the wider foot. I can definitely walk for miles in these with zero discomfort. The color of this shoe is interesting; it's not a true purple but is more of a purple- taupe and looks great paired with almost any other color. This shoe definitely stands out in a crowd!

After purchasing 7. 5 I returned and purchased same shoe in size 8. Roamed house for a couple hours and noticed pain in knuckle on big toe left foot. This was a great shoe unfortunately the fit wasnt for me even with narrow or regular width size feet. SN The Dick's on Canal in Chicago was one day away from closing when I returned in store:(

[ I was very pleasantly surprised by the Motion Access Low Lace Up Waterproof sneakers. My expectations were not high as normally, I find waterproof sneakers to not breathe at all. I put these one and was immediately impressed by the comfort and arch support out of the box. I listened to reviews and sized up half a size, but definitely regret that decision a little as the 7 Normal width is just a bit too long for my 6. 5W feet. I took a chance and wore these on a day out in the city- walking several hours on concrete, inside buildings, up and down stairs. I had no issues with them, even with the sizing being a bit off, I had zero blisters with thin socks. They were extremely comfortable out of the box, and I did n't even need to replace the insole with orthotics like I normally do with new shoes. I love that they are waterproof, but still look very cute, and breathe. I do n't know that I would run/jog in these, but I can definitely see myself hiking in them.

[ I absolutely am in love with the color of this shoe. It's a neutral pinkish/brown and they go with everything! They feel like I 'm walking on a cloud, very supportive, stylish, waterproof, great tread for hiking/walking. Could n't recommend these more and would love to have them in a darker color as well now!

I own two other pairs of Sorels for rain and snow, but this is my first pair intended for work wear. I walk nearly a mile to my office in Boston, and I can confidently say these are incredibly comfortable. They provide great stability on various types of pavement and are warm while still offering enough room to wear heavy socks. I highly recommend them!
