I replaced them with a Large and they fit great. I bought the 5 '' in black and pink. The only thing that I do n't like about these shorts is the drawstring. They are so thin that it comes out of the wash tangled and twisted tight every time. It's annoying but not that big of a deal.

They were a little bit pricey and I actually found them lying about mixed in with some different Nike shorts they have a dark metallic very subtle camo to them that really only shows in the right light and very low key. When I tried to find another section where they were to see if there were other options I could not. So in my mind these shorts were one of a kind and clearly have been purchased by a lot of people since I could not find any others like the pair. They have a back pocket for your wallet and two deep pockets to hold your phone, keys etc. They have thick nice durable material to them but also lightweight so I get why the price was what it was. They are by far my favorite pair of shorts and I take good care of them. The price was overall worth it.

[ Aside from being slightly snug( not enough to not wear), these are great for my casual runs. The shorts are just the right length to not get in the way, yet no rubbing or chaffing. The hidden zippered pockets are great for hiding money or an ID. They are n't the warmest if you are running on a chilly day, but they are n't letting me freeze either. They do later nice too so I can wear thin compression tights underneath without issue. The color is masculine too and matches most of my clothing. I 've really got no complaints comfort wise, so just know to size up a little bit.

[ I have about 25 miles in these shorts and I love them. They ’ re comfortable and light. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” and the 5 ” length is great for my body- type and preference. The pockets are useful and out of the way. There ’s one zippered pocked in the back, four elastic pockets that sit towards the back of my hips, and one internal pocket. The elastic pockets are great for quick grabs like gels. I ’ m usually a size 34 waist in my pants and the medium shorts are a great fit. They don ’ t sag or shift much at all when tied down. Overall these shorts feel minimal while still providing plenty of options to carry basics.

I have been running in a pair of Brooks shorts for close to a decade. As a long- distance runner, I need shorts that are going to go the distance! First, my favorite feature of these shorts is the numerous pockets along the comfortable waistband( including a zipper pocket). The smooth design of the elastic waistband is very comfortable even with things in the pockets. Second of all, the built- in liner compression type shorts are a good fit while not being too tight. These Brooks Journey shorts are my perfect running and cross- training companion, providing a light and airy feel while keeping me comfortable during my daily workouts. Like other Brooks shorts, these dry quickly and have held up great over repeated washes. One of my favorite features is that these shorts have tons of storage, featuring both a zipper pocket in the back center, as well as four smaller mesh compartments around the sides and back. While these are n't big enough to store something like a modern smartphone, they are perfect for energy gels and other prepackaged snacks to keep me fueled once I start marathon training outdoors. I am 5 ’ 7. 5 ” and about 145#, athletic build. I have larger thighs and these are perfect. The band is nice. It comes up high enough and is not too tight.

These are the best shorts out there right now IMO. I used to wear Nike Tempo for running, everyday wear, and sleeping. But I 've noticed that the brief part has gotten smaller with updates, and the elastic waistband irritates me. I 'm also in between sizes in Nike( XXL is too big, XL is uncomfortably small). These Brooks shorts solve all of those problems! I was impressed by the full- coverage briefs, comfy waistband, and perfect length with vents for mobility. They run true to size for me according to the sizing chart and the XL fits great. Exactly what I was looking for. Back on the website to order more!

The shorts were a perfect fit! He really likes the soft inner short and the airy light outer short. They are perfect for running. He does n't get hot and there is no chafing. He also appreciates the design of the inner short. He never worries about showing too much skin. He even felt comfortable enough to do a yoga class with me! [ I ’ ve had these shorts for a few weeks now and have been on several neighborhood runs in them. So far, I ’ m thoroughly impressed. The fabric is buttery soft and has great 4 way stretch. I don ’ t normally wear shorts that have an inner liner, but after I got used to the feeling around the thighs, the fit felt snug in the right places without rubbing or chafing. My favorite features of these shorts are the versatility and all of the pockets for storage. The longer length on these shorts provides a bit of extra coverage at the gym, but also means they look great as casual shorts that can be worn daily. The zippered phone pocket is large enough to hold a pro max with a standard case, and the way the pocket is built into the inner liner holds the phone in a way that keeps it from bouncing around. There are numerous easy access pockets for anything else I need to carry like keys or ID. Overall, these are solid top tier running shorts that are also really comfortable and good for relaxing.

[ Despite my initial skepticism towards shorts with liners, I was impressed by the fit and feel of the Journey 7 ” 2- in- 1 Short. They provided excellent range of motion, and I never felt restricted during workouts or runs. The design includes several small, convenient pockets, which were a nice touch for carrying essentials. The Neo Blue color is… vibrant, and ended up being a bit too flashy for my personal taste. There are a few other color options available, but it would be great if Brooks added more color options in the future. And of course, the one real downside of shorts with liners is that they are single- use between washes, so if you run or work out more frequently than you do laundry, you ’ re gon na need more shorts. But overall, a solid choice for performance and functionality.
