The shorts are fantastic, and feature Shock Doctor's Ultra Cup Retention System, which is by far the best I 've seen for maintaining cup position. There is a flap at the top of the cup pocket for keeping the cup down and straps at the base of the pocket which go under and connect to the back, keeping the pocket pulled back. The cup never strayed, even during squats, kicks, or sprints. If you want consistent, comfortable protection, this cup/short combo will do the trick.

[ My LG Fit Sensor 2 shorts I own are a little bit too small for me, so I bought the sensor 3 shorts 1 size larger than my sensor 2 shorts. One size larger turned out to be a perfect fit for me and the top band does not roll over. I found sensor 3 to be very comfortable and it feels like it might be a little bit lighter/cooler material than the sensor 2 shorts. To my surprise, the leg length is a little bit longer than the sensor 2 leg length, which is good. Also, the legs stay in place as I ride. I ’ ve been using compression shorts for about 15 years now from UA to a number of other brands. I think this generation of UA compressions shorts are the best yet and my favorite compression shorts overall. The fit is good all around and it keeps the man parts supported while not choking the life out of ‘ em. I currently own 5 pairs. The pocket is a great addition and allows me to wear any combination of shorts over my compression shorts while keeping my phone secure, especially when I ’ m running. I have a 32 ” waist and I ’ m on the slimmer side, so I use size small for a good level of compression. I ’ m also 6 ’ 1 ” with longer legs, so I use the 9 ” inseam shorts, which leaves about 2 ” of space above my knee. I do prefer long compression shorts, so I even own a pair of the 9 ” tall size( “ SMT ”) which provides an additional 2 inches(= 11 ”). These run right to my knee and feel great. These are very hard to come by, though, and will most likely need to be found elsewhere.

I don ’ t really like to buy clothing with tight elastic bands on the waist and prefer a little bit longer in length. But it ’ d be ok for a short workout. I like the fabric. The shorts fit like a glove and with the Dri- Fit design, I am able to workout comfortably. What I like most is the texture and feel of the shorts while exercising. I would not change anything about them, just personally would have the shorts but an inch or two longer because shorter workout shorts tend to roll up on my thighs when exercising.

These shorts tick off all my requirements. They are long and do not ride up, The waist sits at my waist so I am never trying to pull the up. The waist band are especially designed to not roll over.
