I work outside, and finding comfortable shorts that are n't too short is definitely tricky. I would suggest sizing down, based on the size chart I needed a 2X, but I tried on the XL in store and they have PLENTY of room. They have a 6 '' inseam, which is a little longer than I usually like, but will still be comfortable. Rated durability a 3 because I have n't really put them to the test yet.

I have thick girl thighs and the length was just long enough to be comfortable walking in the heat of Rome, but short enough to be cute and not look like “ mom ” shorts. I bought 3 pair since I know they will last!
