These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I really love these pants. They are super versatile and very light weight. I wear them to work when I want and wear them out to dinner with my wife. To be fair, I am 6 ’ 4 and I have a long torso and short legs. These pants seem to run a little shorter than others. These are a 38x32 but are about an inch shorter than I would like, but hey that ’s the style these days anyhow. I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.
