I just bought these in early February. I live outside of Buffalo, NY and we have several inches of snow on the ground with no sign of melting anytime soon. I do outdoor walking, running, jogging all year. This product performs excellent on snow and ice. Like no other I have used. The life is limited to about 150 plus or minus miles before they break but they are still worth every penny. Dangerous to wear indoor on hard surfaces but they are easy on and easy off.
