I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. Whether it ’s a pegged texas rig, jig trailer or my favorite... a Picasso wobble head. It always catches fish. When I first saw the bait in person, I thought it was too little for the lakes I fish but once I saw the action under water, I was very surprised at how wide those back legs kicked.. it gave it a larger appearance which was perfect. Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action. Great lure for Lake Michigan Smallies. I gave a 5 star review but it is more like 4. 5 stars. My only complaint would be that they are very heat sensitive. They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. And hold up well to being dragged across sharp, rocky bottom structure. Just keep them out of the heat and you will be good to go!

I 'm a long time fan of Z- Man plastics. I feel they 're the best quality you can buy. I was a fan of the TubeZ, but I like the TicklerZ even better. I like that they have a solid body as opposed to a hollow body. The bait lasts longer and the short tentacles always have great action. Use on heavy rod fast action 7ft- 7' 6 with braid minimum 50lbs. I use a frog weighted 5/0 1/8oz screw lock. These things work like no other I 've tried every freaking brand that makes them and zoom out preform all of them. You 'll go through a bunch until you figure out how to make them last but it's worth it with these guys. You can throw this in open water, over pads, pond scum you name it bass will destroy it guaranteed!

I 've fished this frog in ponds that get a lot of fishing pressure, and caught dozens of bass like I was fishing somebody's private pond! I reccomend fishing it with braided line though, so you do n't get your heart broken when what would 've been your PB breaks your line. Theres multiple ways to fish this frog, but either way you 're gon na catch fish on this frog. It's a pretty durable soft plastic, but after several fish you may need to rehook it or put a new frog on. Depends on how feisty your fish is! Overall though, this is definitely a soft plastic bait you need for your tackle arsenal.

Red/shad is my go to color. They 're absolute bass candy. The action is far better than any other soft worm on the market. The slightest action from you rod causes the tail to move which bass ca n't resist. Lastly, like YUMs description says, these worms take multiple hits from bass and do not require to be replaced after every fish. GREAT JOB YUM!!!!

I have been using Zoom Fat Albert grubs for several years and they are the best in my opinion. I fish them on a jig head', swimming them back to the boat using a lift and drop retrieve and sometimes a straight retrieve. You need to try both methods to see which one works the best each day. I also use them as a trailer on spinner baits. And do n't forget to try them on a safety pin rig like the old beetle spin but with the Fat Albert in stead of the beetle.
