I 've been very happy with the action, durability and color options of the Rapala Cleanup Craw. I 've used it as a jig trailer and Texas rigged it on an EWG hook with success. The claws do n't tear off on short strikes which is a huge plus. The forward facing appendages on the side of the craw flutter when retrieved. At first I was very skeptical about the googan baits but I decided to give a few different styles a try. The bandito bug has turned into my favorite flipping creature/craw soft plastic. I 've fished this frog in ponds that get a lot of fishing pressure, and caught dozens of bass like I was fishing somebody's private pond! I reccomend fishing it with braided line though, so you do n't get your heart broken when what would 've been your PB breaks your line. Theres multiple ways to fish this frog, but either way you 're gon na catch fish on this frog. It's a pretty durable soft plastic, but after several fish you may need to rehook it or put a new frog on. Depends on how feisty your fish is! Overall though, this is definitely a soft plastic bait you need for your tackle arsenal.

As with all Zman ElaZtech baits these are tough, and they catch fish. Late fall fishing, and the large mouth want a smaller presentation. I put the 3 '' in baby bass on a 1/6oz finesse bulletz, and was the only one at the pond catching fish. I caught a couple right around 1 lb, a couple of dinks, and one just shy of 2 lbs( it weighed 1lb 15oz).

T- rig with 1/4- 3/8 oz tungsten bullet weight and a 4/0- 5/0 off set worm hook. You can use a 1/16- 1/8 oz bullet weight if you are using spinning gear. Cast to some cover and let it set on the bottom for a stretch with occasional twitches. Hits most often occur as the worm is falling to the bottom... but I have also had hits shortly after the worm hits the bottom and is just setting there. Stitch it along the bottom by lifting and dropping your rod tip 6 '' or so. Slowly works best, but the bass will tell you what they want. Do n't be afraid to tie on a big worm when you are fishing for largemouth bass! I 've had bass< 1 lb hit this worm like a train. I keep my colors simple... black and green pumpkin are all you need. Those 2 work in all conditions. A great worm by Zoom!!

paddle tail swimbaits rigged with a jig head are often the first baits i throw when fishing for bass. Just so happens it was the only bait i threw all day over the weekend. These produced hits from both largemouth bass and northern in ultra clear water and murky. I was using the sight flash color and it worked great. They do tear easy but are worth the constant action I have experience with them. I usually rig them with a 1/4 oz jig head with the hook through the top, works like a charm!

The package says they are squid scented. Apparently fresh water fish like that scent. After catching the bass in the photo, my friend also caught a 2+ pound trout! Red/shad is my go to color. They 're absolute bass candy. The action is far better than any other soft worm on the market. The slightest action from you rod causes the tail to move which bass ca n't resist. I bought a bag of this bait at my local dicks store last week. I fish regularly on Cayuga lake which is located in the finger lakes in NY. I purchased some minnow soft baits as an alternative bait to my Berkley grub baits. I had lots of success in catching some fish including some blue gill, perch, and large mouth. I also caught tons! and tons! of gobies where I fished. These things have huge mouths and love the scented bait. I was only fishing of a dock so I did n't get the full experience of using this bait on a boat or kayak. I found that using a smaller hook worked well in catching the fish near me. I hooked the bait through the head and out the bottom similar to a carolina rig. The bait works well even after a few fish are caught and the bait is broken down. I suggest throwing the bait back in the back once finished so it can redial up the liquid in the gulp bag. All in all decent bait for a good price.
