This hat is great! I 've owned it for about a year now and it has still held up very well in the Florida heat! Me and the family go on a yearly trip to Orlando and the amusement parks down there can get HOT in July! This hat is a great addition for daily wear for hours on end and tens of thousands of steps later on peak south Florida humid summer days. It does a great job keeping the sun out of the eyes, is very lightweight and breathable. No concerns if it gets wet in the pop up downpours, or you can purposely wet it and it can keep you cool that way as well. I strongly suggest pairing this with sunglasses and sunscreen as well, but this is probably one of the more important things to pack. If you plan on being outdoors in the summer heat and sun for hours on end, this is the one to keep a cool head per se! 5 stars very happy with this.

So, this is my signature hat. I am a female fishing guide and it took me a long time to find the right hat. The Vivian is THAT hat. I am hard on my hats, so I 'll say I go through one of these hats every 2- 3 years. Things I love about this hat: The floppiness protects my face and neck from the sun, it's stylish and feminine, I can tighten the stampede strap when the wind kicks up. Things I do n't love: The stampede strap is leather and wears out over time. The bead wears the strap out and Sunday Afternoon have replaced the hat for me because of this, but with my last one, I ended up repairing it myself with a much stronger material. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.

Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that ’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better! I love that it has a removable strap. It ’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. With my other hat I would tuck the strap up inside, which was a bit annoying. This is the perfect hat for me, and now that it is reversible I have a little more variety.

The Clear Creek hat is easy to pack for out of state adventure. I liked the color combination and that it was reversible. The chin strap helped in windy situations. And especially the sun blocking coverage. I have a baseball style hat with neck fabric coverage that I use for mowing. I have enjoyed your hats for a long time. Easy to hand wash and dry. I bought this hat specifically to store in my car, because one never knows when you might have to stand out in the sun for an extended period of time. I especially love rhis design by Sunday Afternoons, because it's lightweight, washable and quickly air- dryable( comes out looking like new!), the brim is wide enough to shade most of your face, the chin strap keeps it from blowing off, and while walking through a store I can either `` store '' the hat on my back by lengthening the chin strap adjustment or roll it up and put it in my purse. I never want to be without a Sunday Afternoons hat!

I have more than one of these now- two for work& one for play. Fits fantastic, easy adjustment tab in the back. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. I run this through rocks, brush, sappy pines. No issues or snags. Breathes well and has some water resistance. One of the best things OR has made.

It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.

Love it. Comfortable, breathable, and stylish. Is feminine- looking and offers good coverage without being too dorky.;) I wear hats all day most days, and swap between caps, full brim western hats. This one has quickly displaced many of my other go- to hats! Only complaint is I 'm not a big fan of velcro closures. The velcro does work well, but I 'd always rather a strap with slide buckle for an adjustable hat.

This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.
