I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I had second thoughts at first about the jacket because I was concerend about the slightly snug fit. I 'm about 185lbs and 6 ft tall with the medium size being snug but not uncomfortable at all. I just wondered about wearing layers witht he jacket. The arm length is perfect for me and the large size would be too long in the arms. I almost throught to return it to other options but realized this size is really perfect as is after wearing it on a few outings. I do n't really need additional mid- layers with this jacket so it has been great and wo n't be looking elsewhere for another jacket. Replacing an older TNF Goretex hard shell that held up for a very long time until the zippers failed. First impressions is that the number of pockets and their positioning is exactly the type of thing you did n't know you needed until you have it. Feels light and offers good maneuverability. I love my jacket. I use mine all the time. It's super light but keeps me warm when it gets windy and dry when there's a light rain. If you layer up it good enough for cold weather down to 30 Fahrenheit.

Very nice warm jacket I have one for last 20 years. I was working on construction I use this jacket every day., It's very heavy material. You 're not gon na rip it off and it's nice and warm, so I will recommend it. It's no good to go to church but on construction site perfect, the only reason that I buy second jacket because is too small so I need size bigger otherwise that all the jacket is in the perfect condition there was no problems
