I use this vest for morning walks and for everyday around town. I have tried vests from Columbia, LL Bean, and The North Face, and this vest is hands down the best. Love the water resistant fabric on the shoulders. Wish they do the same on their Buck fleece long sleeves. Compared this to the Patagonia better sweater vest, my go to is now the buck fleece vest.

It is a mid- layer fit though! goes great over most mid- layers( fleece, light insulation, or fitted sweater) with the limiting factor being the size of the arm holes.
