It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

I had second thoughts at first about the jacket because I was concerend about the slightly snug fit. I 'm about 185lbs and 6 ft tall with the medium size being snug but not uncomfortable at all. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

This jacket is exactly what I needed for Colorado's winter. Keeps me very warm without any layering though with layering warmth will obviously be increased. I would totally recommend if you are into snow sports or like being toasty during winter. As a South Florida resident for the past 48 years, I do n't find myself needing a heavy winter coat often. But this year, we were traveling to NY in early February, so my layered sweaters and sweatshirts were not going to cut it. I had an old( 15 years,...) winter ski jacket, that must have weighed 20 pounds, not ideal for travel. Temperatures were in the 20's with strong winds, and I was toasty as can be. The hood is perfect for keeping the wind out and I quickly realized that I did not need to wear various layers underneath, becasue the jacket kept me warm. Additionally, it is so light and compact for travel, I was able to stick it in my carry- on bag with no problem. We are going to Iceland later in the year, and I am ready!

[ I love that this jacket is multipurpose as I can wear the inside jacket with or without the outer part. I have the khaki jacket and get many compliments for the color. It has kept me warm from the cold and dry from rainy days.

I live in southeastern Massachusetts, and it's been unusually cold this winter. I researched different brands of insulated parka coats for men and came to the conclusion the North Face Nuptse Parka is supreme. I love how immediately effective it is in blocking all of the frigid cold even with less layering underneath. On my workdays in the office, I wear a business suit year- round, and this parka takes the place of my usual black wool overcoat. It is light and versatile enough even for warmer days. I 've been a fan of North Face since 1989 when I purchased my first Gortex down parka from them. I adore their quality workmanship, and the zippers last forever!
