[ I ’ m a female and bought the mens. I chose medium. It fits well with room to layer. Covers my backside for extra warmth. I live in Maine where the wind whips often and this coat has kept me so warm on the cold and windy days. The outer shell does attract lint or hair easily.

[ I purchased this jacket to replace my main winter coat that I had for 20 years( also Columbia). Very good mid- weight coat. You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. Any cooler than 30 degrees and you ’ d probably want to throw on a fleece underneath. The Sherpa is a very nice touch, and I love the hood. This coat is more comfortable than my previous coat, time will tell if it also lasts me 20 years.

[ I Love this jacket, I got to wear it to a rodeo and when it got filthy I took the outer layer and put it in the back of the truck and wore the inner layer and stayed clean the rest of the day. It fits very well I sized down since it's a men's jacket but it's very comfortable and roomy without being baggy.
