This rain trench is pretty great. There do n't seem to be a lot of rain coats that are thigh length, so I love this about it. I was also looking for a 2- way zipper and a waist cinch when I was shopping for a rain jacket, so check and check! I really love the velcro wrist closures too for keeping your arms dry as well as helping with the length of the arms which are a bit long for me. The color is bright and makes me happy to wear it. So far, it's protected me through all of my wet outdoor adventures, and it's pretty warm but breathable.

I couldn ’ t be more pleased with this jacket! The colors, fabric, attention to details with covered zipper ends, pockets, no bulkiness, lightweight, and I was worried about being short and the large size being too long in the arms and length- but there are Velcro wrists and length was fine!!. In the past, I ’ ve had the option of my rain jacket ruining my outfit, or opting for no rain jacket, but having the rain ruin my outfit…. NOW neither are a problem, as this jacket actually makes my outfits even cuter!! Fits comfortably true to size, but size up if you want it to be longer. I walk alot( 6- 10 miles a day) in the rainy PNW. I am picky about my rain jackets. This one is very nice. I like the fit, the length( over the fanny... important where it rains alot), and has snaps at the bottom sides to allow for a longer stride or use of steps. I would say that it runs a bit large though the fit is loose too.

I am so happy I got this coat for the torrential rains that are happening in California right now. I usually wear a medium... sized up to a large and I am glad I did. The sleeves are long enough to hide my cold hands and I 'm able to wear layers underneath for warmth. It still looks good. My L covers my butt( 5'6 '', 34DD, short arms, 145 lbs.) Love the visor to shield my glasses. This will be comfy to wear in summer storms, too... the pit zips are handy, 2 outside large zippered pockets. The coat is not heavy but it is substantial.

We had a mild cold front of mid 60s in the morning and rain in Texas, this jacket came in handy. It kept me warm and blocked the strong winds throughout the day. I loved the double zips, which to me added aesthetics to the jacket. The hood was loose on me and had no drawstring to tighten it. However, a beanie sufficed for the golf game. [ Ordered a small and it fit well compared to other size small jackets I 've owned. Love the breathable panels and how lightweight it is. Great for light coverage against minor wind and cooler temps. Was great when I took my child for walks at the parks. Fabric is soft and comfortable and it's well made. Love how light it is and easy to carry with me as an `` emergency jacket '', only thing I would add is thumb holes to keep the sleeve down when being more active in it, which is just a personal preference, not due to a flaw in the sleeve design.

[ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

i use the Helium Rain Jacket in addition to a 700 fill goosedown esp. when i ride out into wilderness. while it will not protect against sheer downpours, it will if you 're under a tree! plus, in conjunction with the puffer i stay super warm and dry while packing small and light. imperative on a horse!

It is a blend of sporty with some style. It ’s not as fancy or tailored as a traditional trench but the waterproof fabric is much more practical. I would call this more of a stylish rain jacket.

After researching different trench coats I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this one. I have it in the ancient fossil color. It is beautiful in person and it gives both fashionable and functional. I love the buttons on this coat and the bungee inside gives you more of a fitted look. I would suggest sizing down from your normal size. It already gives a bit of an oversized fit. I enjoy this jacket a lot. It's been raining a lot in my city and I am happy that this prevents any water from getting to my inside layers and also blocks the wind. I normally get a size M for comfort and I like baggier fits. I am 5'5 '' and usually a 28 '' waist. I think the M fits well around the waist but the location of the pockets feels a bit low for me. Maybe a small size would have been more flattering. Overall, I am happy with it!

I think Colombia is the only one that makes a fleece lined raincoat and I absolutely love it for cold rain. You CAN layer in other rain coats but when you just want a quick trip to take the dogs out in the rain in the cold weather nothing beats a warm rain coat when you don ’ t need a heavy winter coat. I have been on the hunt for a longer raincoat that covers my rear. I have a `` regular '' length Columbia raincoat that I love. This one is great and will be in heavy rotation. I got the Greenscape color. I am 5'5 '' and wear a women's 16. I got an XXL to be able to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. It is generously sized. I might have been able to go XL. I knocked a star off for 2 things that others have raised here. The hood is pretty much useless as it either falls in your eyes or flops backwards. Point 2 is that in my other Columbia rain jacket you can tighten the cuffs with a strap to stop water or wind from blowing up your sleeve. The Weekend Adventure has one snap that tightens the cuff by about an inch. That is not going to keep water or wind out.

With it being warmer this time of year I wasn ’ t sure how much use I would get but cooler rainy days have been perfect for it! I love that it ’s lightweight and easy to pack or bring along with me. The fabric is breathable and comfortable without feeling hot and sticky. I wasn ’ t sure how it would be without a liner but it has been comfortable. I can see myself continuing to use it in similar conditions, cooler weather with light rain, early fall and spring as the seasons change. The color is a little brighter than I typically choose but it is fun! It is a good staple to have in my closet.
