Leaving this `` First Impressions '' review, because there is little to no information out in the wild about Sole's new lineup( not even on Sole's website). I 've received( Dick's room of choice service), personally assembled and have just a half dozen longer runs logged on it. This unit replaces a Sole F63 that I had and enjoyed for 13 years. General Likes/Loves: Console is smaller and less `` in your face. '' LED readouts vs LCD screen( much simpler). Dial adjustments for speed and incline vs arrow buttons. MUCH quieter motor( brushless). Slightly smaller footprint, but same 20 '' x 60 '' running surface. Easily connects with my Apple Watch via NFC for displaying your heart rate, distance, etc. on the treadmill's screen. Dislikes/Hates: Could be me, but feels a little firmer underfoot( less give/bounce). Still figuring out the Sole+ app interaction. It syncs up w/ the treadmill and with Apple Health, etc, but I 'm not sure what purpose that serves me as the Apple Watch handles that also. iPad version of the Sole+ app. actually was just released today, 5/26. Hoping that I 'm just missing something, and there's more there than I 'm seeing now. No real Hates yet. Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths- Improved connectivity to 3rd party BT heart monitors AND Apple Watch.- The simplicity of the screen is a beautiful thing. I do n't need a TV mounted to my treadmill and a pricey subscription so I can pretend I 'm running through the Swiss Alps. Some people do- I get it.- The new dials for incline and speed are BIG improvements over the old arrow buttons.- Speed changes are much improved/quicker- does n't take a minimum of 15 seconds to change speeds.- Brushless, electronic motor is MUCH quieter. Weaknesses:- Warranty on motor from Lifetime to now 2 years( same as all parts except frame, which is still lifetime)? I purchased the 4 yr add- on warranty, but c'mon.- The cushioning is now labeled 2. 0, but I think it's firmer than my old F63. Obviously, still better than asphalt or concrete. Overall, very pleased. I 've heard a few say that it's a `` cheaper '' build with more plastic. As far as I can tell, the only previously metal parts that are now plastic are the side arms. The upright posts, frame, base, etc. still steel. The treadmill itself is 30- 40 lbs lighter than the previous one, but some of that is the motor change, and I did n't enjoy wrestling with the bulky, overweight previous version to move it anyway. I had normal wear and tear type maintenance with my old F63, but I always found Sole reliable for support( large community out there), and their parts widely available. As I shopped for its replacement, I was tempted to by some of the newer, slicker, sometimes cheaper options( Yesoul, Wellfit, etc) and sexier, beefier, pricier units with more features than I could ever use( NordicTrack's Commercial line, Peloton, etc.), but the timing of Sole rolling out their updated models( long overdue btw) and my good experience with the brand really helped make my decision easier. Only time will tell about good performance and durability, but at least initially, I 'm very pleased with the purchase and the treadmill.

I ’ m really enjoying this treadmill. As expected from its size and weight, it feels sturdy and well- made. While assembly wasn ’ t hard, it ’s definitely a two- person job, especially after squeezing it through the door. The deck cushions each step perfectly, making runs feel soft yet firm. The screen ’s clarity and touch response are impressive, though I would have liked it to sit higher. However, the tilt and swivel functions make up for that, especially when doing iFit workouts off the treadmill. The fan isn ’ t adjustable, but it works well, and the built- in speakers are loud enough to hear over the quieter- than- expected treadmill motor. This treadmill has an minimalist, European vibe. It's unlike the behemoths we kept seeing at stores, without the huge screen that blocks your view of a TV or of the world outside. The color accent is a nice touch( ours is a muted, slightly bluish shade of green). The machine supports running at up to 20 km per hour-- a sub- 5- minute- per- mile pace-- which was n't necessary for me, but was for my teenage- athlete son. While it's not quiet at that sort of pace, it's unusually quiet at a more conventional running pace. The deck feels firm and adequately stable( it's not going to be as stable as an extremely heavy and expensive machine). It does n't feel like there's much cushioning, which I regard as a plus. The machine does n't nag you to buy some subscription service( I once returned a treadmill because it would n't stop doing that). Two delivery guys carried the unassembled machine down a flight of stairs with no difficulty, and assembled it in 15 minutes. Immediately after assembly, the seam of the belt made an annoying sound twice per revolution. But the noise essentially vanished after a couple of uses. There were no floor sample of any Reebok treadmill at any retailer near me, so we had to take a chance and order this without every having tried it. Glad we did. I think this is an amazing treadmill for the price, which I 've seen from$ 900 to$ 1400..

After my Matrix T50 caught on fire, I was looking for a treadmill that can withstand regular use and that was built securely. I really like the lowered control panel which honestly feels inhibition free. The belt is not as wide as I was accustomed to but I am getting used to it. For those purchasing this treadmill, lube it up and turn each side five full rotations clockwise to tighten the belt. Adjust with quarter turns to align the belt, clockwise right to adjust it right, left side to adjust left. The instruction manual is very basic and I did read reviews where some people had a hard time with the belt. Hopefully this information helps. I don ’ t know how long it will hold up but if it doesn ’ t catch on fire and lasts two years, that ’s a big W in my book!

I was debating between this treadmill and a bowflex one( or none at all- I am an outdoor trail runner and didn ’ t know of this would be worth the price). However I am so glad I chose this one! It was slightly more, but it has a smaller footprint and maintains many of the features including a 15% incline, absorbent running deck and Bluetooth. It was simple to set up, but best of all… it ’s not a huge monstrosity that you can ’ t see over. I have a TV in front of it, so I didn ’ t want anything obstructing my view. It ’s sleek and doesn ’ t look weird in my basement. There ’s also a phone/tablet holder and a flat deck so you can easily use a device for work meetings, peloton app, reading a kindle, etc. There aren ’ t many reviews so I did a deep dive on Reddit and still didn ’ t find a ton of answers, so I hope this helps someone out. If you ’ re looking for basic features, sleek look, a higher incline and lower price, this is the one!

I bought this a month ago and have put over 20 hours on it. Assembly was straightforward, taking me and my wife about 1 hour using the included tools. It is a large and heavy machine, so I 'd recommend assembling it in whatever room it will reside. The manual workout mode is very simple and quick to get moving: just plug in and press start. It shows a screen with a pin on a track showing your lap time, total time, distance, calories burned, speed and incline. Speed and incline can be adjusted with simple button pushes. The tread flows smoothly and needed no adjustment.( I did have to shift it around my room a little bit, as the tread is a bit sensitive if placed on an uneven floor... my first placement caused the tread to constantly shift to the side. Once I moved the machine to a flat spot, it has been fine all month.) The real magic is in the iFit software. The pre- recorded runs, walks, and hikes can be searched and sorted by intensity, duration, etc. Very nice if you 're like me: a desk jockey who is trying to finally get active. I have n't discovered all of the secrets of this treadmill or iFit, but I 'm excited to spend time on it; and that is a first for me. This is an incentivized review.

Running is fun again
I have had one of the larger treadmills from Nordic Track, and chose this one so that I could have something that is not so bulky. I was worried that it would not be stable, but I have been super impressed with the stability of the treadmill along with the motor and the running surface. The speed of the treadmill goes up to 12 mph and it also allows you to incline up to 12%. The only thing I miss from my last treadmill is the decline, which really was n't much. I love that this treadmill has a 10- inch display and Bluetooth capabilities. I have been obsessed with the IFit workouts. I am currently doing the trail series and LOVE the runs! I was in shock of how much more features this treadmill has than my older NordickTrack. The touch screen was a huge hit for my older teens as they are big into all electronics. It was very user friendly and had so many options for different workouts. It took about 2 hours to put together. I have been using this for the last few weeks and have. Been so happy with the features. From the ease of use on the extremely large screen to the seamless transitions during the programs, this treadmill is amazing. The touchscreen is oversized and high quality. Whether I want to watch my trainer or watch my shows, the color definition is impeccable. Having the choice of which trainer I watch and where they are is great. The responsiveness of the screen is extremely quick and requires almost no load time. The operation of the treadmill is top quality. The cushioned load bearing base makes running easier on my joints. I can certainly tell a difference between running on an old treadmill or hard concrete and running on this. The incline and decline are quick and smooth. Often, I have barely noticed the transition until it's harder or easier. I only have a few cons. One is the inability to move it easily after it's been setup. Due to the weight, even with the rollers on the bottom, it is hard to adjust and ca n't be put in a stored position to clean under. The other con is also a pro. The ifit programming is wonderful, however, slightly expensive. To get the full benefits of this wonderful treadmill, a plan has to be purchased. The pros outweigh any cons on this machine. After three weeks, I 'm very pleased with this treadmill. I chose the SOLE F89 over others because I perceived SOLE to be a more open ecosystem by allowing streaming services to be natively available. It's not perfect as there are other apps I would like to add, but I am able to cast these from my mobile device as a work around. Hopefully this may open up to additional streaming apps or option to install from the store. I chose basic delivery and had a very smooth experience. Assembly was fairly easy. The box is HUGE, and I needed a helper to hold parts in place during assembly. My setup is on the ground level with tile floors. Once assembled, moving the F89 is easy-- also something I believe is a big plus for SOLE. I use the integrated fitness tracker, and it picks up my heartrate from the watch. This was important to me as I transitioned from another brand just to see my heartrate for the F89. The display is great. Sound is poor. Bluetooth is sketchy and does n't reconnect drops. It appears this was a problem with my first attempt headset/earbuds disconnecting and the treadmill not reconnecting. I swapped out the earbuds with a different set and it is much more stable. Build quality seems excellent. The belt and incline motors are very quiet. No creaks, squeaks, or strange noises. I 'm happy with the responsiveness of the speed and incline adjustments. The paddle controls are very nice.

This is an incentivized review. As someone who just gave birth to my fourth child this treadmill has allowed me to begin to prioritize daily movement utilizing different functions and features of the treadmill. The installation/set up was very simple, meaning the directions were clear and easy to follow while also only needing an additional person for ease very few times during. I believe most men could set up by themselves with no additional help of another however an additional person is absolutely recommended. Setup took between 1. 5- 2 hours so not bad. This treadmills design looks fantastic. It ’s a little slimmer than our past treadmills but not in a negative way, still plenty of space on the belt while running or walking. The resolution and user interface is clearly of high quality. Navigating between apps and features the screen is seamless and the software is quick to deliver. What has impressed me the most is the quietness of the machine while in use and the speed and smooth transition between levels. I enjoy internal speed walking and this noticeably enhanced the features associated. The only feedback or con per se is that there is not a proper or good location to place a phone or tablet to watch during your workout. For most this won ’ t be an issue especially since you can utilize the apps that are included on the interface itself.

I have owned multiple treadmills and a few things have impressed me about this one. It is the quietest treadmill I have owned. Both the sound of the motor and the sound from my feet hitting the deck while running are not very loud. In addition the belt doesn ’ t slip and feels solid when running. For reference I am over 200 lbs and run at 7- 8mph. The only downside to this treadmill is that there is not a good spot to place a tablet or phone in front of you to watch shows while using the treadmill. I was able to use my ipad case to hang my ipad over the screen. The assembly was straightforward, but does require two people. I have opted for more of the incline walking options, but I ’ m super interested in trying the walk to run option as well as the yoga. I ’ ve had for a few months now and I still love it just as much as the first day. It really is so simple to use. One of my favorite features is the quick start on the main screen. I know I have the option to follow one of the iFit trainers, but there are days when I ’ m crunched for time and I find that the quick start is perfect for those times. After years of running both casually and training for marathons, I 've got to say this treadmill impresses me. The build quality is solid, and it runs super smooth compared to others I 've used. Really love having the decline option- it's something I 've wanted for a while and it makes indoor training feel much more like the real thing. Screen could be bigger and I wish I could tilt it, especially during longer runs. Interface gets a bit finicky when you 're really sweating on it too. Assembly was pretty straightforward- did most of it myself but definitely appreciated having help with some of the bigger pieces. This treadmill is a refreshing new replacement of yesteryear's boring treadmill. Its soft and quiet. The IFIT is a gamechanger. Makes running/walking fun and entertaining. I can walk through exotic locales and learn interesting things while I exercise. Thats a gamechanger for me to keep me in my routine. I can track my workouts through the IFIT app. I can stream my Netflix and Prime accounts. This NordicTrack paired with the IFIT subscription is a gamechanger. Very Satisfied.

I was excited to use the NordicTrack X16 to help me train for the hiking season, and it ’s been fantastic. The incline/decline feature is exactly what I was looking for — it challenges me with steep climbs and makes me feel like I ’ m walking real trails. I can already tell my stamina is improving. The iFit challenges are another highlight. I ’ ve been “ traveling ” through California while I work out, and the scenery keeps me motivated. The giant screen is so immersive. So far, I have loved the motivational dialog with the the iFit fitness trainers. They are relatable, real, and discuss how we can change everyday moments to improve our fitness. This treadmill has been an excellent investment for both fitness and entertainment. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

After months of scrutiny and scouring the internet, I finally pulled the trigger on the STEPR all- in tread. This treadmill is even better than advertised. Sleek design, super soft and comfortable slat belt makes for easy miles when you need them. The incline and speed can also ramp up for tempo runs, intervals, and hill training. Wow, this treadmill is amazing!!! It ’s so nice to run on — it ’s so smooth and also a little flexible, which makes it really easy to run on and it absorbs some of the impact on your joints. I loved the nice big touchscreen — it ’s super clear for viewing media while running, and the touchscreen menu makes it really easy to use. The pre- programmed workouts were nice too. A trainer would take you on trails through various sights, while the treadmill automatically adjusted your incline and speed. Plus with the wood sides and modern design it ’s the nicest looking treadmill I ’ ve ever seen. Overall, I give it 5 stars out of 5!
