These came just in time for me to shovel my driveway. I thought the elements were on the backs of the hands so was uneasy with gripping a snow shovel, but it must have been okay. I did n't think with the elements on the palms of the hands, that my hands would stay warm. But, when I got inside and took them off, my hands were warm. They are huge( I 'm sure intended for a man's hands), but I made it work. In the long run, I 'm very happy with them. My hands always go numb from the cold below 15 degrees. I ’ ve tried top tier mittens and wool liners to no avail. With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. [ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

The mittens performed well above what I had expected. they are 100% wind proof and never let any moisture in. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. The recommended sizing for me was a M. I went up a size and they were snug, but very comfortable. The quality of these gloves are outstanding. I ’ ve had these up for over 20 days and anything from wet heavy snow to very frigid and windy blue bird days. The Gloves are just excellent. Easy on and off and if you want to tighten them up they have an excellent cuff velcro. Wear them under my jacket cuffs and kept all the snow out. I ’ ve thought over the years to get a pair of Swany or Hestra gloves like a lot of the ski patrollers on our mountains but after getting this pair, I won ’ t think of needing anything else. Just got these delivered… build quality is very good. The leather and materials are high quality, and stitching appears solid. I like the tight wrist closure to fit under a jacket cuff. It will definitely keep snow out, and the Velcro patch is large. One important note on sizing: these are sized as “ unisex ”, not Men ’s or Women ’s. This means the Large size I ordered is a bit smaller than a Men ’s Large, and possibly bigger than a Women ’s Large. I have ordered other models of OR gloves in Men ’s Large, but these are a little tight on me. I probably would have been better off with an XL, but I bought them on an “ All Sales Final ” promo deal so I will have to stick with the L and hope they break in and stretch out a bit.

The Team gloves are the nicest 3 finger glove I 've owned. The overall build is top notch with a super soft and comfortable inner liner. The index finger( which can still get cold on 3 finger) seems to have more insulation around it. The reinforced palm is a nice feature. The leather just looks and feels to be a notch above other brands. I also like that OR included the leash. I would recommend ordering the size you typically wear. I normally wear size large and these fit perfectly in large.

I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store. What these are good for is cool weather and general use. The gloves fit my hands well and do n't have the odd long finger length that I get with most other gloves. Former frostbite victim here. Been looking for very high quality/warm/durable gloves. These are it. Luxurious outside and inside, and more/most importantly, warm. It's march and it just snowed again. And I do n't mind it.

I was invited to write this review for a chance to win a cool hundo. But I have absolutely no problem saying these gloves are the warmest I ’ ve ever put on. Like hot boxes! Pretty sure they are appropriate for the coldest weather New England has to offer. If youre going subzero, arctic, whose to say? But you ’ ll be fine skiing the east. I ’ ve heard that black diamond quality has taken a nose dive, but these gloves seem solidly constructed with double or triple stitching along leather seams. They are still too new to tell how they will hold up to abuse. Hoping for the best.
