Excellent for winter to cut the wind and retain heat. Had multiple deer come within 30 yds and jacket noise did not alert them. Used as a top layer with layering( and heated vest, socks, and gloves all on lowest setting) during a 12( F) degree morning, never got cold and didn ’ t feel the wind. It does not have pockets, which helps with retaining heat and one less thing to leak down the road, but I use a small pack to carry in. I do suggest breaking it in a bit. Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Really like this coat. It is a classic! It is very comfortable. The one negative is that the pockets are not deep. I put my gloves in my pockets and one fell out and I did n't know it. Overall it is a great coat!

I absolutely love this coat! I loved the color and the fact that it was oversized. I got a med could 've went with a small. The med worked out great where I was able to layer a hoodie underneath it. It was perfect for the car and warmer winter days. I 'm sad the other color sold out in my size.

I initially bought an XL and it was just too boxy. I easily returned it for a size L and it fits my figure well. I am 5' 4 '' and it sits just above my knees. The material is a bit wrinkled from packaging but I think it will smooth out. It is not a heavy wool jacket so not for bitter cold days but enough to keep you warm and comfortable especially if worn in the car.

[ This jacket is really well made. It is very stylish, light, but wind resistant. It has zippered pockets to keep items dry and the hood is designed to keep head dry against windy conditions. The multi color allows a person to wear many different outfits. I love this jacket and recommend it highly.
