My head is on the big side, and this hat is perfectly roomy and comfortable. It ’s great for summer! I wear it in the pool to keep the sun out of my eyes, and it dries quickly and the chlorine hasn ’ t caused any discoloration. I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!

I have three of these hats. I keep one in the car and one in my backpack so I always have it on hand. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. It stays on well in windy conditions if you snap it under your chin. I wish it came in more colors. Fun ones. I would love orange or teal or fuchsia.
