[ Overall this is a really great fleece. It is not as thick as I imagined it would be but honestly that ’s fine because you can easily layer with it! I ordered the Navy Dolomites print and the colors are gorgeous, I ordered a small and probably would have been fine with an xsmall but I like that it is a relaxed, slightly oversized fit. My only caveat is that as someone who is petite( only 5 ’) the sleeves are quite loooooong so I do wish it came in a petite option.

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

The small fit fine, but I prefer a looser fit for layering and breathability:) And because this is a sun shirt, looser fit is best for the fabric to keep out sun rays, anyways. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

[ This Fleece hoody by Marmot is a stunningly stylish and extremely comfortable garment. The fit is very versatile in the way of it has an athletic fit yet can also be worn in a dress casual piece as well. You will honestly look at the hoody and think wow that looks to lightweight to keep you warm, but I tell you don ’ t judge this book by its slim cover. They state it on the tag and it ’s a 100% true that grid fleece technology keeps you dry and comfortable and warm. Is it a coat you should wear in the snow, probably not, but if it ’s a bit windy and chilly this is the hoody for you! Biggest complaint about most woman wear is the lack of pockets, but Marmot has you covers with two exterior pockets with zippers to keep your items from falling out and two interior pockets, one on either side. The zipper may not seem like a big deal to some people but the have some very functional sturdy zippers that you don ’ t have to worry about breaking or skipping a tooth. Once again this is a beautiful athletic dress up casual hoody that will fit for many occasions wether on the run in the park or a stroll down town on a chilly fall date!

I bought this for a trip to Paris, France and Tromso, Norway. I also bought the men's version for my son. I wore it as an outer layer in Paris( highs were low 50s). It rained a bit, and I was happy with the waterproof material. In Tromso, I wore it as a mid- layer under a thermal suit. We were in the Arctic Circle in freezing temperatures to see the Northern Lights. It compressed well and was not bulky to pack. You can also use it as a pillow( it can fold within itself). The jacket is lightweight and is thin. It's not a bulky, puffy jacket. If you 're looking for a slightly heavier jacket, then the next weight up is the Lätt( X- Lätt is this lighter one). Although I got it to travel, I still wear it on the `` cold '' days in Florida because it is so cozy. I 've washed it a few times with no issues. It's European sizing, so consider the next size up.

I was in Salt Lake on what turned out to be a rainy week and needed a jacket. The Flagship store was up the street so I stopped in and met the friendliest and turned out to be great spokesman for Cotopaxi. I immediately gravitated to th Bacano Fleece, mahogany with light blue trim. Great fit and cozy. I heard about the design studio above the store and found a great jacket and maybe an even better company since my sales guy was the best spokesperson for his employer any company could ask for. I 'm so happy with this windbreaker! It's super lightweight but really does cut down on the wind. The fit is very flattering. And more importantly, it has hand pockets! That may not seem like a big deal, but I 've been disappointed with numerous other lightweight windbreakers on the market that do n't have hand pockets. The pockets are zippered too. This will be a versatile jacket to throw in my bag for spring, summer, and fall. I can see myself using it for hiking, biking, and around town.

This ultra light weight jacket does it all! I use it for early morning summer/fall commutes, runs, field work, and sun protection even in hot weather. Surprisingly warm and wind resistant for the super thin fabric, almost paper weight, yet breathable. The easiest layer to throw in a purse or bag. Was looking for a high- visibility running jacket similar to the Patagonia Houdini Air( wind resistance+ breathability). I have both the regular Houdini( size L) and Houdini Air( M). Keeping this in M. FIT: I 'm 5' 1, 150 lbs, 34DD, round belly. With a Smartwool 250 baselayer or a thin long- sleeved cotton t, fit is close to the body, but not tight( Houdinis run much slimmer); pretty forgiving of my belly:) Perfect length for me, falling around mid- hip; Houdinis are longer, falling below my butt. FEEL/FUNCTION: I 've worn this for multiple runs( incl. light rain, strong wind). This feels somewhere in- between the Houdinis in terms of wind- blocking and breathability. V. light rain beaded on the surface of the jacket, but left a mark when smushed into the fabric. Material is a matte, slightly stretchy, more fabric- y( vs. plastic- y) material- like a slightly thicker/heavier Air. Hood fits over thick pony- tail securely when fully zipped, and stays in strong wind. Doubles as a running and casual jacket better than the Houdinis due to a more forgiving fit around the mid- section( for looser- fitting street clothes), shorter length( more flattering for my short stature), and zippered side pockets. Packs down small enough for an upcoming 2. 5 week trip to Europe( 24L bag). COLOR: Azalea appears neon coral in the pictures, which is what originally attracted me. Unfortunately, it actually is not neon at all, and is more like a salmon pink that leans more pink than orange. It is slightly see- through. LOVE the green( Grove) colorway- something about the color+ matte fabric texture+ matching zippers makes it look SO smooth and rich and clean. Did not intend to get this color, but decided to try( and keep!) it based on the( accurate) pictures.

I live at elevation, where weather conditions can change fast( and wind is common). I 've worn this jacket in a variety of conditions so far: rain/snow mix at 40 degrees,< sub- freezing temps and sunny, dark and 32 degrees. It's kept me warm without overheating, blocked the wind, and kept me dry during light/moderate precipitation. It's lightweight and packs up small, and is my new fav running item! It feels like it might run just a tad bit small in my opinion, so if you want a thicker layer under it, I might suggest sizing up.

I winter hike a lot in the white mountains of New Hampshire and I love this layer! It's perfect for ascents over my 300 weight wool shirt. I rarely sweat in it or need more than those 2 layers. If I do sweat it evaporates very quickly. It's very thin and lightweight however I barely need an additional layer in higher elevations. I have worn this in temps ranging from 10- 30 degrees F. It's amazing. I love the windbreaker aspect of it bc it either surprise snows or you brush up against trees while hiking and do n't get wet. You stay so warm with the fleece lining. Still ca n't believe how thin it is.

I 've had this piece out for a couple of runs now, and I really like it. It's quite warm- I was a bit too warm today in 2°C sunny weather- but it sheds heat well, and I was glad to have the warmth when the sky clouded over. This will be a jacket that I break out at 0C or below, personally, but I run hot. Lots of pockets, which are nice. Very soft and comfortable; flattering fit without being restrictive. Fit true to size for me( 5' 9 '' 160lb.) Only things I would change: it would be great if there was a drawcord at the hem, both to snug it up in colder/windy conditions and to stop the contents of the pockets from bouncing as much; and I find the wrists are n't stretchy enough to pull over a watch without a bit of effort.

So versatile. I wear this in 50 degree weather over a t- shirt to hike, or in 10 degree weather over a baselayer to xc ski. It layers under a shell well too. this pullover is very comfortable and soft, and at a weight of 2. 4 oz for the XS, is a great addition to my packable lightweight layers for hiking. i read as many reviews as i could, to try and determine the correct size to order. typically, i buy size SM most of the time for a garment like this, but i went with the XS, and i ’ m glad i did, because the fabric is light, drapes nicely, but i ’ d be swimming in this if i ’ d ordered my usual size. i ’ m 5 ’ 6 ”, 113 lbs, light- framed body. even the XS is a bit generous in the fit, but at most i ’ d wear it over a tank or a slim- fitting tee. looking forward to the SPF 50 protection.

6 months in and this hoodie is my best friend, I seriously wear it everywhere! Skiing, hiking, and the grocery store- often back to back- so thank goodness it does n't hold smell. The design is so well thought out,( hello pony tail slit!!) and the cut is flattering. It does fit looser than a true base layer,( its easy to fit another layer underneath) but I 'm okay with that b/c its not to tight for casual everyday wear. Like other comments mention the material is a little bit scratchy/itchy. But either I 've gotten used to it or it's gotten softer b/c I do n't even notice it anymore! The fabric is n't sheer/see through at all. I 'm 5'10/athletic build& medium was perfect.

I was really impressed by this base layer. It is very thin and see through but very effective at keeping you warm. I wore this multiple days mid- winter as as my single layer under my shell snow pants. Right out of the box it wasn ’ t as soft to the touch as I anticipated but after wearing it a few times that concern went away and I never thought of it again. I never was itchy like you sometimes are with other wool products. The real highlight of this baselayer is the hood/built in face mask. I kept grabbing this baselayer day after day because of that feature. I love that you can wear the hood up or that you can without it and it ’s not super bulky. The face mask was awesome because I ’ d pull it up on the chairlift and then leave it down while riding. For someone who doesn ’ t own a face mask and rarely wears one, it was really nice to have that feature built in. The face mask was the perfect fit! I ’ m absolutely going to buy another one because this is my new go to!

I love this base layer for backpacking in the winter. The built in balaclava is great for hiking in the snow and rain and sleeping at night in cold conditions. The wool is super warm as a base layer but also breathe able when wearing it on its own when moving in the sun. I bought this for visibility while running, but I think it will also be the perfect ski baselayer because of the gaiter/face mask and ponytail slot in the back. It's super warm but also lightweight, and the Sulfur color is gorgeous! I have really broad shoulders so I debated sizing up to a M or a L but ended up deciding on the M, and I 'm happy with my choice. Yes, it's a fitted top but it's supposed to be. It hugs the top half with a little bit more of a flowy( but not baggy) fit at the bottom. The arms are long with thumbholes to help hold them in place. This is high quality, and they need to restock all the colors!

Like some other comments have identified, this is a tighter fit so size up from your typical OR size. I am a 32B, 5' 7 '', and 118 LBS and I got the size S and it fits perfectly. I wear this to go running and hiking, and I can fit a wool base layer underneath on very cold days. Perfect addition to my outdoor apparel.
