[ These pants are so versatile you can use it for everyday use. I love the rain and stain repellant feature because water just slides through it. It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. But i still love it! and i love the belt hoops that becomes additional hooks to whatever you may want to keep in your person that is easily accessible.

Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Thank God fijallraven has started making long inseams for womens keb. Iam 5'11 '' with a 33 '' inseam, and women's were never long enough. I started out with the Folly Twill pant and they just looked kind of dumpy on me at 5 ’ 5 ” and curvy. I wished they hit my ankles where they do on the model, but sadly they land lower and just look weird because the larger size also meant a way wider leg even though I didn ’ t need that. I 'm 5' 8 and wear a large in most brands. I bought these in large and they fit great. I could probably wear a medium for a shorter, less baggy fit but I like that they are a bit baggy and longer. I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. They are so lightweight and soft. They 're great for travel too, worked well for a long day at the airport. Be aware that you will make some noise in these, that swish swish sound. I was worried that the waist would be too tight on me as I am not used to wearing high- waisted pants and I do not have a curvy figure. Going by the size guide, I ordered size 40, but the hips and legs were much too baggy, although the waist was okay but still loose. I took a chance and exchanged the 40 for a 38. When I first tried them on I found the hips and legs fit perfectly. But the waist, as feared, seemed too snug. I kept the pants for a couple of weeks and every few days I would try them on and wear for short periods indoors. After a while, the waist started to loosen just enough to feel comfortable. I have worn them a few times now and the fit just keeps getting better! I am so happy because I really wanted to like these pants and now I have a pair that fit beautifully. I will use them for hiking year round and in the winter as a good pair of outdoor pants in Alaska.

I bought a pair of these pants about 20 years ago and wore them until recently when the lining started to deteriorate. I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I usually wear long johns or long johns plus another pair of warm pants under these and there is plenty of room. The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. WHERE ARE THE NEW COLORS?!?! These are the most absolutely amazing pants on the market and I 'm getting nervous that there are no new fun colors this season. It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. They are crazy lightweight and breathable but also water resistant. They keep me cool in 100+ degree weather and also do great over a baselayer in the winter. They are stretchy enough but also hold their shape. OR, you better warn us if these ever get discontinued so I can buy 10 more pairs.

OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. Fabric is a little thin, but that's great for the warm, humid south. Biggest perk is that they work great on an active, but curvy figure. Maybe you are starting activities early in the morning when it's cold but will be out as it gets hot and want to remove the legs of your pants to have shorts instead. Or perhaps you are hiking and going up a mountain and know it will get much colder as you proceed, and will want to change from shorts to pants. These are comfy for any such activities. I just received these pants…they are amazing!! I own a previous edition of these and they only came in regular length. These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don ’ t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can ’ t speak to the new ‘ improved fit ’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. It complements my figure better than the lower waist and it provides extra protection and warmth, as well as making tucking a base layer or t- shirt in easier and more comfortable. The cost is high but 100% worth it for trousers that will last years. I definitely plan on buying more.

[ Hiking in my neighboring Rocky Mountains means lots of interactions with scratchy, rippy surfaces. These Nikka Curved provide terrific reinforcement in the right areas. The tough fabric is surrounded by breathable stretchy fabric. These pants ARE on the warm side, though; I 'd consider them three- seasoners( a bit much for hot days).

I ’ m 5 ’ 7 ”, 125lbs, with a 32 ” inseam. And I ’ m a weight lifter, so it ’s incredibly difficult to find hiking pants that fit in the glutes. These pants fit perfectly. They are long enough, they have sufficient glute room, they actually stay in place when I ’ m moving and don ’ t ride up/shift around. And, they ’ re flattering! And they have pockets such that my phone can fit without impinging my movement, or pulling down the pants. So glad I found these.

Although I had ordered the long version because I have long legs, I had never guessed that the trousers could be too long for me. I had to ask someone to shorten them. The pockets are very useful, eg on a citytrip. The trousers are a pleasure to wear and they look great. I love to wear them in the city and on nature hikes. Though they were expensive, I would not hesitate to buy them again. The fabric is very comfortable, also when you sit down.

[ These are literally the only non- wide leg outdoor pants that have ever fit my thighs and hips without falling down or gaping at the waist. I love them so much. They are so durable. I love that the fabric is weather resistant, quick drying, and ventilated. I love Fjällräven ’s warranty. They aren ’ t quite as high rise on the back as I would like, but otherwise these are amazing and comfortable and I would happily grab a drink or dinner in the( admittedly very casual) PNW urban area after. These are not my first pair and will not be my last, but that ’s because I love them so much. The first ones from a few years ago are still holding up despite multiple slides on scree, grazes with my crampons, and other issues that lesser pants could never dream to be able to handle. They are long, but the edges are raw so you can hem them yourself. I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and so sometimes I get that pregnant- looking belly, and then they do feel tight, but that ’s true of almost everything. Normal bloating doesn ’ t make them uncomfortable. For me, I would say they run larger than almost all trousers but smaller than the Fjällräven Abisko trekking and trail tights.

Not too tight but fitted enough to to be flattering not feel like your wearing hiking pants. There are tons of pockets and I mean pockets that actually hold things including your phone! I wanted to love the keb trousers but I couldn ’ t get over a few flaws. The thicker material is not ideal for summer conditions and the reinforced butt gave me a uni- butt. I recently bought the keb agile trousers and they are perfect. The pants are thinner, still durable, and have quite a bit of stretch! Overall I think these new trousers are the perfect edition to my hiking wardrobe.

This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.

First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. They are thick enough that they feel more like pants to me and oh, so comfortable. The waistband is high, but not too high and the overall fit is just perfect. The leg pockets are deep and secure and the reflective piping at the ankles is a really nice touch. I had thought I might need to wear long underwear with them to be warm enough, but the wind proof panels are a life saver and they are plenty warm if you keep moving.(* An added bonus is that dog hair does not stick to them!) By the third day, I did have to pull them up a bit but the drawstring came in handy. I bought this last week and it was made in Vietnam. The information was printed on the tights, which I think it is better than a physical label. I am 58kg/ 161 cm. The tights( size S) are very tight on my legs but there is still much room at the butt, so when I walk I could feel the butt area a little bit strange. Regarding comfort, Abisko Trekking Tights Pro are less comfortable as the Abisko trail tights I own, but warmer. You can literally feel the compression and tightness of Abisko Trekking Tights Pro when you put it on.

Without wanting to sound erratic, these are without a doubt the best item of clothing I own. I could rave about them all day to anyone who would listen. I have worn mine weekly now for work and day- to- day life for over two years and no issues. The pockets are fantastic, I can fit gloves, phone, keys, etc. The material is comfortable, light, durable and practical in any weather. I feel confident and happy when I wear them. My first pair of trekking tights- glad I went for these. I 'm Uk16 and 6ft and find the Xl a perfect fit. The seams are very strurdy and the pockets well placed. Hand washed and air dried several times and holding up well. I like the knee and seat reinforcements, but a same coloured option would be good- as per another reviewer. Warm enough for wild Welsh winters. The fabric dries quickly and is hardwearing with big dogs and scrambling over rocks. The ankle hole seems tight, I 'd say these are a `` sit down and ease over the heel '' legging rather than put on standing up and pull all the way on. A suggestion- Would Fjallraven consider printing the garment information inside the fabric instead of having itchy fabric labels? I have to carefully cut out the labels with a sharp knife, without damaging the seam, which I 'm sure will end in disaster one day.
